[ The feed clicks on to Marceline grinning like a maniac and holding her new red bass guitar with a note that says "First Place" on it. She emphatically points to it. ]

I guess that dance wasn't much of a waste of time after all, punks! Check out what I won from that weird camera contest! Finally, something to bust out some jams on and I don't even have to borrow it from anyone else! Ha!

[ She floats a bit back from the camera to show off the guitar in full. She tightens one of the strings and strums and begins to sing a little. ]

I'm in. Are there any super awesome celebrations going on or anything? Are you hosting a party?

There's usually some party going on. Or I could host one. I should host one! It'd be the best party ever.

You should host one. When is it, anyway? The calendar system here is all plop and I don't know anything about what's going on or when. I'm pretty sure this place is just making up holidays or something.

It's not making up holidays. It follows a pretty basic system. I think the only issue is nobody has a clue what year it is? So we're all just kind of guessing and I don't know if it's Sunday or Friday today and kind of only know when school is in session since they just decide it but other than that everything makes perfect sense.

Today should be the 29th sooo the day after tomorrow is when the party would be.

Awesome. I'll see what I can do about some songs or something. Been a while since I've really had an audience.

Maybe we should actually get together and practice.

We should definitely get together and practice. I'm sure we'd sound AMAZING even without it but just so we don't accidentally start playing different songs or something that'd be a good idea.

And we can see who else wants to join in on it.

Well obviously. We need to figure out what exactly we're gonna play. You know, setlist. And figure out who's gonna sing and play what parts. Because as nice as we might sound together, we do need other people. Like a drummer at least. Know anyone with a keyboard?

John does! I'll ask him. I don't know about a drummer though. I only know more guitar people and Dave does a turntable thing and I think his sister can play violin...

I mean, I can play drums but I can't do both at the same time. That's a little much.

[myfries]

Well, if we have a keyboard, the drums aren't necessary. You can usually put in a little beat and have it playing but me? I like to have a full butt-kicking drum set playing so hard you can feel it in your guts.

So like I said, not necessary, but a nice touch to have.

I want to feel it in my guts. Not necessary means probably better. So we should find one.

Oh, and while we're at it, what kind of equipment do you have? I don't really have an amp or a mic setup yet. Do you have some or do I need to go rent it?

Now you're just encouraging me to sneak in by making it more challenging. This place could use some spicing up.

Lesson for you: No one escapes harassment. Especially not if it's fun. Saying you don't want to be harassed is a pretty good way to get harassed.

Don't worry. It happens to everyone at some point. With as nice as you are, I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner. Or maybe it did and you just didn't notice!
