[ Clint opts out of the visual form of communication to conceal the fact he's in some discomfort, but considering that he's currently suffering from several broken ribs, cuts and bruises that look questionably brutal, and the potential to have internal damage - well, he's not sitting around complaining about it when he knows there are people out there in need of help. Besides, he's no stranger to soldiering on through pain, and this is hardly the worst he's felt. ]

Figured I'd slept funny, but it turns out it's not just me.

[ His dry humour isn't always perceived that well in person and neither his the light sarcasm that comes out as a defense mechanism, so why he thinks it'll work any better via text is beyond him. But, still, he's leading somewhere important with it. ]
