He notes the instant concern on her face - surprising him for a moment. Not that there's concern on her face at all - but he realizes he hasn't had that attention to detail for several months.

"Thank you, Sheska -kun." There's a hesitation before the honorific - with everything that's happened, he's not sure where they stand. -kun was a safe place, though, that wasn't too formal or too familiar to frighten her. He takes a breath. He'll need to get more familiar than that for any chance of accomplishing what he came here for.

He moves into the room, giving her a small smile - not much for him, perhaps, but genuine, and a sight more than has been seen recently. "I'm all right. Do you have time to talk?"
