Clucking his tongue in irritation he seizes Jade's wrist for a second time and tugs the girl further inland. There's not so far to run to, but at the very least at the center of their little desert island the water is only as deep as their calves.

"Wwait, wwhere's Fef?" Eridan mumbles, eyes scanning the horizon. It's hard to hear any kind of laughing over the rushing water that is steadily rising against them. If Eridan's afraid of the water, keeping an eye on Fef takes priority, so much so he forgets he's still holding onto Jade's wrist.
