"Wow!" Steph grimaces and flexes her hand, feeling really thankful that she still has it. She carefully walks closer to the spider as it takes its last, heaving breaths. "So...that was effective!"

She flashes a quick smile Johanna's way, "Thanks, by the way! I'll even pretend like I was totally not scared I'd lose my hand!"

Steph bends down and places a hand on the spider. Now she feels kind of bad for it, though she probably shouldn't be.
