They should really make the effort.

There are lots that wouldn't grow on Ireland. But it's much warmer and wetter here, and there is the fire mountain. Yet there are still oaks and rowan, though they don't do as well as the ones with the big floppy fronds, and the ones that look like vines fused into their skin. Some of the monkeys are best at home in those - they tend to avoid the apple trees unless they're fruiting.
