Ed has his notebook out, ready to take notes. He's already seen a wide variety of abilities on this island, unusual things that seem to have no respect for equivalent exchange. Al can socialize and watch the speech -- he's here to meet everyone else. Even as their host strides up to meet him, he moves away, headed over toward what looks like a pair of identical twins.
