A sharp clench of her fists crunched the ends solidly closed so that they wouldn't part, even with the weight of a Fire Nation crawler weighing on the end. The motions to remove that stricture would be slightly more complicated, but she chose to forgo that and just slice through the cables just beyond the crimped pieces with swift downward sweeps of a straightened palm. The crumpled piece fell to the rooftop at her feet, and she spooled the rest.

Leaning down and sliding out of stance, she picked up the chunk of twisted metal, and held it out in her open palm.]
