They mostly seem to try to ignore us and lead normal lives - or at least as normal a life as you can live on this island. About a hundred of us are like you - supposedly 'fictional', drawn here against our will, and trapped with no foreseeable way off the island." He says it cheerfully enough, seemingly unbothered by the situation.
