Who: Sarah and whoever.
When: Tonight
Where: Nancing Phoney
What: Sarah's at the Nancing Phoney going in for her first shift.
It was weird to think of the place she's been to the most would be her new place of employment. At least it was a place she was familiar with and waitressing wasn't that hard. Just acknowledge people, take their orders and not start any shit. Seemed simple enough. Besides it would be her job, something she had some understanding of. Not when she was acting as Beth who had the greatest job of being a cop. The only good that came from that was Sarah learning how to shoot a gun.
Either way the job would put some extra coins in her pocket. Plus, when people had enough liquor in them they tended to talk a whole more. Maybe she'd find something useful in going back home. Whatever the case she'd have to make the best of it.
She came in through the door with her hair in a low pony tail, shirt and jeans. She recalled where the aprons were and put one on. From there it was a matter of getting a notepad, pen and waiting around for people to show up. If not, it'll be an easy but boring night. Perhaps she could sneak in a drink or two in during a break--no, she was trying to keep a job, not get herself fired on the first day.
Shaking her head she grabbed a rag and started to wipe down the tables and chairs.
