For your knowledge, a... friend of sorts of mine has appeared here. He is fairly taciturn and snappish, but do not take it to heart.

He has recently appeared upon the network - if you wish to speak with him, I suggest to talk with him there.

ENTRY 2.

( Oh, hey, look, someone's figured out how to fiddle with his "strange device" a little better and is attempting one of those fancy voice posts. Mostly since he still doesn't trust those key things, but shhh. He sounds a little unsure of himself and, honestly, a little startled, but we'll get to that later. )

...I am guessing that the... strange things I had seen these days past were not singular in nature. But, instead, something all were experiencing in one form or another, correct?

...I am glad for it.

ENTRY 1.

This is not Masayf. Nor the road towards it. I am not sure where I am or why I have found myself in this place. I awoke here, in a strange sort of bed in a very strange room. I have no idea why I have woken here, or why these people have insisted incomprehensible things to me. There are also confusing, bizarre devices here, and blinding, strange lights that seem to function on some sort of strange power.

With the loss of my journal, I am trying to write with one strange device now. There are things that they call "keys" that seem to have letters upon them. Someone who called herself a nurse patiently showed me how to use these keys. They say it is called "typing," but it is of no matter to me what it is called, or what this device truly is. The only comfort I can gain from this is a means to put my thoughts to… I am not sure. It is not paper. But it is something.

In truth, I can only think of things that the Apple has shown me before, glimpses of a future that is confusing to me. Is that what has brought me here then? Is this the working of the Apple? I wish it would give me answers, to perhaps understand this strange turn of events. Alas, it seems to be just as confused as I, showing me only the same things it has before, and not an explanation to my situation. I only wish I could see Masayf from within it.

( So, yeah, Altaïr doesn't understand that posting with this is not like writing in his old journal. Have fun reading, commenting, and confusing this poor guy. )
