[Guess what day it is! It's the start of school, but she doesn't know it. The thought has completely left her mind as she moves her hand to hit the snooze button on her device. It had to be the fifth time, but instead the video option turns on. The alarm is still going off with Rogue's hand still moving around until she hits the snooze button again.

Letting out a groan she tugs the covers up over her body and rolls over again.

The video captures her sleeping for another minute before shutting off.

Anyone care to wake her up?]

[Finishing up, he puts his food on a plate and slides into a seat at the table.]

So. You just sleep in, or is school really that bad?

Your cooking is fine. [It was hard to resist not eating a second time around.

She eats a little bit of her bacon and washes it down with her water before replying.]

Slept in. I didn't think school would start today. [Because wasn't this a holiday or something? She couldn't quite remember, but it feels..weird to be in the same room as him again.]

[She's about ready to take another bite of her food, but pauses hearing that he was a teacher. Color her surprise.]

You were....a teacher? [With the X-Men? ...No, he has to be pulling her leg there.]

[Annnd that'll wake her up. She hasn't heard that voice and tone since she was a kid. For a brief moment she thought it was her mother calling her, but no that was impossible. Instead she snatches her device to glare at Carol.]

....Right. [Still she can't figure out why her other self would give that information away. But whatever.]
