[The exclamation is part surprise, and part reproof; almost immediately he's shipped oars to let them drift, slipping hands into his pockets to pull out one of his gloves, the softest kidskin leather, and slip it on so that he could reach over and press a finger to her lips, shushing her.]

[What was suppose to come ass sarcasm, Remy took as the truth. Maybe..there was some truth to it. Maybe she was slightly worried he was getting bored with her, which hurt. After everything they had gone through, maybe he wanted to be with a woman who wouldn't harm him.

When he shushed her, she couldn't help but look away.]

[His gloved fingers brush her cheek after he finishes his quiet tirade.]

[His words do pierce her heart, calming the touch of jealousy she had and felt rather stupid for feeling that way to begin with. Little by little she leans into his touch.]

I'd say you've earned yourself a break, but that would imply you've done some work today. [It's just her teasing him, things going back to normal between the two of them. But yes, he does deserve something of a break.]
