Another year has come and gone. I didn't think the months would pass by this quickly, even more so than where I was before. It makes me wonder how much longer any of us or myself will stay here.

Regardless, happy new year everyone.

I hope this year brings more joy and happiness to you than the year before.

It does seem to be going by kinda fast, doesn't it? Gee, I hope time really isn't going by faster than it should be...

I don't know if time goes by faster when you have nothing to measure it by or when you do. It doesn't feel like those months just happened but they did.

Maybe it's going by faster because it's quieter... I think a lot of people come from places that were a lot busier... I know I did.

Quieter or there are less people here. It wasn't busy from where I was from.

Hm... there are a lot fewer people here... but it's only one little city on one little island...

Do you think there's more stuff out there in the sea? Places we haven't seen yet?

I'm not sure. I haven't tried to row out to sea to find out, but if there was something out there....we would've spotted it by now, right?

I think some people have tried but... I feel like they'd tell us if they made it out... Maybe it's real dangerous out there.

As for things out there, well, if it's land, it doesn't really move, does it?

Maybe...I don't think we want to place ourselves in danger.

Nope, it shouldn't. Unless...we're on some sort of moving island. But that sounds a bit silly...right?

Oh, I don't mind. It's not really that dangerous so long as I'm not swimming. I.. don't think I'd be able to do that very well.

A moving island... weirder things have happened here, right?

Sadly, yes. Though I'm sure it'll find a new and exciting way to surprise me.

Apparently two days ago.

That's weird. Oh well, a celebration two days later's better than no celebration.

Wait, we're having a celebration?

Sure we are! We can have a whole New Years Party with the streamers and everything and we can even pretend to do the countdown.

Uh-huh...and where will we be having this celebration? I don't think your or my apartment can handle too many people.

It'll be kind of small, but people have done it before. I'm sure Loki won't mind.

Maybe you should ask him first before we continue with planning.

Although if we hold the party outside...we could invite more people. [Thinking out loud here...]

Think you could build an ice fort or space?

I could build an ice tower if I really wanted to. A fort's no trouble. Outside is more fun anyway.

Okay, maybe not a fort but a canopy?

..How soon are we doing this party, anyway?
