I don't know what happened to Jenny, but she'll be sorely missed by us all. I just wish that I had something to remember her by.

But in light of the bad news, I found a lovely little Welsh thing last night. I want everyone to be extra nice to my colleague from back home Gwen Cooper, because if you don't, she won't hesitate to set you straight. And coming from me, that's a lot to say.

That's the thing. They don't, really. Not that I'm sure they know anything, but I don't think that they would be too upset about it. Well, the chief of police might not. Nice guy. Turns out he can pack away a few pints.

But if everyone is.. dragged here from different worlds, then wouldn't they at least be more knowledgeable about aliens?

Oh, yeah. There's actually quite a few aliens and strange creatures here. The only difference is that they're actually citizens here. There's plenty of other things for our organisation to be concerned with, though.

[Jack just doesn't understand that the Doctor misses his oldest friend as well as his daughter. He wouldn't be killing anyone anymore, but still...

[His tone is shaking, anguished. There's a pause while the Doctor collects himself, as always trying to keep his emotions in check so they don't overwhelm him completely. When he speaks again, his voice is even, nearly emotionless.]
