Sounds like a brilliant essay on human relations with other native species to me. You could work in comparisons to the Silurian material we covered in class the week before it happened.

It was so nice and expensive and customized just for me and oh man I need it! Too bad an octopus princess stole it and I didn't get to keep it. I'm definitely going to try and get a replacement for that thing.
