[ He wasn't truly the leader in this ragtag group of misfits calling themselves the Avengers. That title had yet to be bestowed on anyone, especially here on New Moore, and Steve wasn't about to throw his weight around in an attempt to take over something that didn't really need to be taken over.

He still felt responsibility, though. Call it habit, from leading the Howling Commandos. When he'd returned to normal, he'd returned to work, and he had only just realized that while the last member of their team was here, he wasn't with them.

It takes him a minute to figure out the filter system, but when he does, he sends the video Thor's way, the other Avengers+Bucky receiving it as well. ] Thor. You got here at a really strange time, and I'm sorry for that. There's a spot for you here at the Stark Building, if you'd like it. I'm sure we can all understand if you'd rather not, considering the, ah, state we were in when you got here. [ He pauses. ]

We'd really like to have you, though. Team's not really complete without you.

[Thor isn't sure what to make of any of this, all things considered. This place is a mess, and he really could have used a friend when he first got here, but somehow he's managed to settle in enough. Now here's this offer and he wonders if it's a good idea to accept or not.]

I'd rather have answers for what was wrong with all of you, when I arrived, first. I am... uncertain about joining any of you.

Understandable. [ Steve frowns a little, trying to think best how to phrase it. ] This island, it... isn't normal. Every now and then, it changes people, against their will in most cases. It.. alters reality. Thor, if you choose not to come, I understand completely. The offer will always remain open, should you change your mind. I don't feel right forcing you to do anything, especially here, where anything seems to be possible.

The island itself changes people against their will? [This is information he can't say he's glad to have, because now he'll just keep expecting it.]

It transformed you all into pirates. I do not see a purpose to this. [He shakes his head with a sigh.] I will join you, if you are certain Stark will not mind.

[ Steve chuckles a little. ] To be fair, neither do we. If I had a choice, it wouldn't have been pirates at all. Maybe cowboys. [ Getting off topic there, Rogers. ] Stark's had a room waiting for you, just in case you showed up.

Cowboys? [He's not going to say it out loud but he doesn't understand that reference.] He has? Then... I suppose I should thank him. I have nothing to bring with me, so I shall come by soon.

If it's worth anything, Thor, I'm glad. I think we'll all be safer from whatever this island decides to throw at us if we stick together. Do you need directions?

Perhaps we'll be a bigger target, too. [A frown.] Yes, please.

[originalavenger]

Maybe. But a target that can fight back better, too. [ It's a moment, but Thor soon receives a message with directions to the Stark Building. ] I'll wait for you outside.

[point_break]

You are right. [He smiles a bit at that.] I will be there soon. [And he's on his way!]

[vdova]

I'm going to second the Captain, here, Thor. We'll all be better off with you here.

[point_break]

If you're certain, then I am glad to be at your side for as long as we remain.

Steve's right, Thor... they picked a really bad time to bring you here. We'd definitely like to have you with us, though. Strength in numbers, yeah?

Perhaps they found it entertaining. [He shakes his head a bit.] You are right, I will be over shortly.

They do like to test us, it would seem. The pirate thing hasn't even been the worst they've done, if you'd believe that.

Yeah, this place is... odd. To put it mildly. Can't say I'm exactly a fan of actin' like some pirate captain myself. [ He's kind of embarrassed about it actually. ]

I'm Bucky by the way, Steve's friend. Nice to finally meet you, Thor, certainly heard quite a bit about you.
