What: With absolutely nothing else to do, Selina resorts to her old ways: Picking pockets.


[ Selina is wandering downtown, a cup of Starbox in her hand, slowly window shopping the more upscale stores in the area. Her gait is lazy, and she seems like she's not paying any attention-- so when she runs into someone, she gives them a sincere apology, and scurries along on her way.

[It's early enough before Christmas that Clint remembers that Christmas is actually coming soonish and not actually in a few days. He's usually one of those guys that buys everyone a gift days before the holiday, and now with everyone talking about it, it reminds him that he should start shopping now. Especially for Natasha, because that girl has everything and he always has the hardest time shopping for her.

She usually has expensive tastes, which is why he's in that area, window shopping. It just so happens that he's looking into a jewelry store window when he feels someone bump into him. He's about to shrug it off when there's a pull at his pants pocket that he recognizes.

His hand reaches out to snatch her wrist.] Not so fast, lady.

[ The mark looks easy enough, not paying attention to his surroundings, concentrating on the jewelry store. Just a slight bump, an 'Oh, I'm sorry', and--

busted. The second he hits her wrist she lets go of the wallet, pulling her empty hand away, and looking offended. ] Excuse you! Let go of me!

[He looks her over a moment. It's a brief appraisal, to see what he could potentially be going up against. He didn't think Natasha was much until he found out the hard way that she could kick his ass from here until kingdom come.]

I don't appreciate someone trying to steal from me. [At the end of his sentence, he lets her wrist go.]
