[The last few days - particularly the 16th - had been something of a ridiculous mess, even if she hadn't been struck by the memory plague. It's a relief to see something as normal as a friend coming to spend the day with her forest. She always made a point of stopping in to check on him a little after he arrived, and today is no different. She allows him no more than half a glass of uninterrupted reading before she drops in, hanging upside down to let her hair pile atop his head while she contemplated his reading material.
