[Video] Tuesday Morning
[This was suppose to be private to Lin and Coulson, but Carol isn't feeling her best at the moment so she didn't exactly filter it correctly.
Saying she looks like shit is putting it lightly. This was suppose to be over. She thought she was in the clear, but yesterday it happened again. She woke up, took a sip of coffee and spat it back out, the burning of the whiskey still hot in her mouth. She almost broke, but she promised herself that she wouldn't, she promised her friends she wouldn't. And even though they weren't here now she planned on keeping that promise.
But it hasn't been this hard since she started recovering, and she's not sure how much longer she can last.]
Hey, I know this is last minute but...[She rakes a hand through her hair] I'm not going to be in today or...tomorrow probably. I'm...I'm sorry.
[And she's not apologizing for the alcohol, because she hasn't drank anything, and she isn't going to drink anything, but she's just so thirsty.
She picks up a glass of water; her face contorts when the clear liquid turns amber in her grip.
She curses loud and throws the glass across the room as the feed goes black.]

[After a moment, she realizes she could use something though] You don't happen to have coffee, do you? 'Cause that wold be great.
[Action]
If you can get it to stop turning into Bailey's I will make you na honorary member of the Avengers. Grinds are under the sink.

[She sets to work o the coffee, trying her best to remain patient but occasionally cursing under her breath when she finds the water misbehaving.
Fumy, she never thought water could misbehave, not really.
Eventually though, her efforts are rewarded with what seems to be a proper cup of coffee, two even!\]
How do you take yours?
Re: [Action]
[Carol takes one of the mugs gratefully and chugs it down without even letting it cool. The heat from the liquid is absorbed by her body and converted to energy. The caffeine and bitterness of the drink helps as well]

[She stares at the coffee left in the pot, wondering if it was safe. She picks up the pot and sniffs it. Finding it still to be coffee the pours another cup and downs it like the first.]
So, what did you do back in your home?

Nothing too interesting. School, work, hanging out with a Norse god. Y'know, the usual.

[A joke. She doubts she'd be so lucky to meet someone here with connections to home.]
