[To: Captain and Athair]
[The video clicks on to a pink nose which withdraws to show a very mischievous wolf looking rather pleased with herself. Reaching off-screen, she lifts into view a familiar chunk of twisted masonry and metal, with a shining pocket watch draped over it. Setting them down before her paws, she prances, dropping into a play bow with a grin, tail waving. She places a smug paw over the items, gently lifts them in her mouth, dances off, leaving a single sugar cube on the carpet. After a moment, the camera clicks off. Hope you're ready to play~]

Aisling? Aisling, what is that? Did you take that from my bedside table? Aisling? Aisli- [ He sighs a little and tries to smile, though he's a little worried about whether or not he can find his prized piece of rubble ]
I see. Well, don't I even get any hints?

He shakes his head, a hint of a smile at the corner of his lips and takes Jack's hand.]
Come on.
[He's not sure he is reading Aisling's clues right but he's trying to get Jack to follow him up to the exit that goes out through New Brew.]
Looks like we are going to have to play along.

He releases Ianto's hand and turns his mug upright, and then looking at the stone he found underneath. ]
A stone..? What's this for? Did she find this somewhere?

victimsfathers pay attention, they might notice that the two chunks fit together, almost like puzzle pieces, though there's no image on them. The pieces align so perfectly that it's clear this was once a larger chunk. When placed together they become an almost perfect square - two halves of a whole. A message, or just something shiny she picked up? Good question. And then there's the sock.]no subject
Clever girl. Lapis lazuli, it's a precious stone. I hadn't realized any existed on the island, but trust her to find it.
I think they are supposed to be for us. And this [He lifts up his sock and shakes his head.]
Needs to get put back where she borrowed it from.
[He straightened the mugs, picking up the gemstone and setting it in his pocket carefully.]
Don't get any ideas, I don't think she's finished with us.

She's sneaky. I'm sure there's plenty more that she's got in store for us. [ He plucks the sock from Ianto's fingers and smiles at him. ] Should we check the laundry, then?

[He gives a playful grin and straightens his tie shrugging his shoulders.]
I'll go wherever you go, Captain

[ Jack laughs and tugs at Ianto's hand as he heads back into the hub and straight to the back to their quaint little living quarters. When he doesn't find anything obvious like it had been in the coffee shop, he opens Ianto's sock drawer. ]

[he doesn't sound concerned though, as he picks up the bag of nonpariels, wondering when and where she had found them]

[ Jack takes one of the chocolate-covered espresso beans and pops it into his mouth before he lifts and examines his mouse. ]
Well I'd say this one is pretty obvious. [ He pockets his sweets in his coat and starts for his office. ] Any idea why she's doing this?

[He makes no sign of telling Jack, however, that little smile still on his face. He follows along after him as he turns the ring around his finger, arms behind his back.]

[ Jack gives Ianto a strange look, but doesn't press the issue, despite his curiosity. He'll find out soon enough, he hopes. Upon reaching his office, he notices the door slightly ajar and steps in, eyes scanning the room for some sign that sneaky Aisling had been there. ]

There are no tricks or traps. Not even an explosion of plants. Instead, they may find a pair of ancient silver-bladed daggers in leather sheathes worn shiny with use. Each sheath has a long leather thong to enable a person to tie the dagger to a belt or about a leg. The daggers themselves are slim enough to fit into a boot, and balanced nicely for throwing or stabbing, only about as long as your palm. Each hilt is all-of-a-piece in simple dark wood, twisted in a slow spiral that looks as supple as taffy, with a smooth finial that sports an understated sunburst design similar but not precisely like the broaches Aisling had given them for Christmas.
A trio of snowdrops lie between the daggers.]
