Not so bad...

[ He's seen his kin end up blind. They get along alright as long as they can smell and hear. There's some serious issues with blindness and stairs but Nine's a lot smarter than those guys so he's going to be just fine on this one. And he's got a cane!

Oh. Wait. He almost forgot. He stops walking for a moment and very awkwardly reaches over and puts a pair of sunglasses on Nine's face. ]

[ Badass in the cool jacket and sunglasses. He smiled about it, not that anyone would see it. Good job. R starts walking again. ]

[ The Doctor is a cool coordinated adult who will totally not trip (much) as they walk ]

[ He grabs his arm to try and keep him from tripping-- then he trips himself because he's paying more attention to Nine's feet than his own. He lets go and gives up on that. He tried. ]

[ He can at least handle himself without falling down. Hopefully. He tries to catch R when he feels him tripping, but he can't do much. ]

You all right? Don't get hurt on my account.

[ All things considered they're pretty okay walking, he thinks. ]

M'fine. Wouldn't hurt.

Don't feel...anything..

[ Get stabbed or shot or get smacked in the head with a brick and keep walking. Who cares unless it makes it harder to move. Everything's just numb. It sucks. ]

And nothing's changed at all since you got here? You got better at talking, thought you might be healing.

Healing?

[ He shrugs ...then realizes you can't shrug at someone that can't see you as an answer to a question. ]

[ Apartment. He's got it. Once he's figured out how to get somewhere he can walk there without needing to check and-- Oh no. He pulls him to divert him out of the way ]
