Who: Aqua and you!
What: Aqua needs to clear her head and figure out what's going on. It's a day after she arrived on the island.
When: Backdated to 6/17
Where: Going from the city to the beach.
Warnings: Anyone can tag in, the more the merrier! Though be prepared for Aqua to be a little angsty over what she's been told. She's trying to sort everything out. Oh! And possibility of her using magics?
-------------------------------------------------------
It was strange being in a place where light was real. Where she could feel the sun's rays on her face, feel the warmth of it and know it was real. Aqua wasn't using her imagination keep her mind distracted from the world around her. Nothing was made completely of shadows or made to be a mockery of the actual world. The Dark Meridian was the perfect example of that; a beach with a palm tree and water that lapped against the shore. It seemed nice, but it was nothing more than a façade.
But there's not time for her to relax or enjoy what's around her. The fact she was dragged out of the Realm of Darkness and placed in a strange new world gives her cause to worry. Then there was the fact that others from different worlds were her, including Riku. From talking to him and others, she's learned some of what's happened since she sacrificed herself for her friends--something she was willing to do again if necessary. There is one person she never thought she'd hear of again, Vanitas.
He was destroyed and yet she was told there were Floods on the island. And a lion... How could she possibly forget there was a wild animal roaming about? It wasn't high on her list of priorities. If need be she could cast a sleep spell on it and move along. She needed to clear her head and being in a room wouldn't help.
Aqua began to wander the island intent on heading out of the city and towards the beaches. Hopefully she'd calm down or think of a plan.

It's as she reaches the city's outskirts, that they appear. Three flying Blue Sea Salts and a single Tank Toppler, no more than four yards ahead of her on the street.
As soon as they materialize, they turn their attention to her, Sea Salts darting forward the pepper the area around her with ice spells, while the Tank rolls up behind them, covering them from the back.

"Fira.." The word is muttered under her breath, aimed at the three Blue Sea-Salts. Hopefully her aim is true.
"Vanitas!!"
no subject
It rights itself and immediately lunges toward her, propelling itself body-first like a round battering ram.
no subject
"Sleep!" Another spell to place her enemies under to take them out with the Keyblade herself.
"Vanitas show yourself!"
no subject
Then, they appear.
Small blue heads poking over the rooftops, red eyes glaring down at the Keyblade Master with vengeful gleam. Not just one, or five, or even a dozen... their numbers easily quadruple that as the Floods all crowd around each other from the buildings on either side of where she stands.
no subject
"You always have to do things the hard way..." the words were muttered under her breath as she stared at the Floods.
If they wanted to attack her she'd give them that chance. The Keyblade in her hand disappears as she takes off running towards the beach. She had to draw them away from the buildings and people. In the open ground she could use her stronger spells and kill them at a faster rate.
no subject
And they were all now on Aqua's heels.
Rest assured, their Master wasn't far off, either. But for now he continued to keep himself hidden, moving swiftly but silently through the shadows between buildings to conceal his presence.

When she touches the ground she's flowing from one attack to the next, using magic and strength. She are a barrier of spells cast from Mine Seeker to Sleep and more. The combination of magics allows her to briefly enter Spell Weaver mode, but its still not enough. It feels like if she kills two, four more take their place. She's not worried though, continuing to pace herself until the Unversed were close enough to wipe out a huge chunk of them.

Because his plan is to wear his opponent down as much as possible, before he dives into the fray. It's cheating, but he really doesn't care, because this time he's taking out all the stops in an effort to get rid of Master Aqua once and for all.
The battle rages for a good twenty to thirty minutes, before he finally lets up on the assault, and enters into a corridor of Darkness. Exiting on the shore where, if all goes right, is somewhere at her back, Keyblade already in hand.

If she stayed still long enough she would feel the slight shift around her body. Of the Darkness that clung to her form trying to reach out to the Unversed to join another body of darkness to consume her whole. She forces herself to keep moving and keep pacing herself until the Floods lighten up. She's at the shoreline, water brushing over her ankles.
It was a tough fight, but it's far from over. If she rests, even for a second, he would attack. She takes a moment to catch her breath before the air shifts again, causing her to draw up her Reflective Barrier and turn. She's expecting to see another Flood, but it's him. The Masked Boy.
"I was wondering when you'd show up."
no subject
But other than that rebuttal, he doesn't waste time talking. That's been his mistake in the past, and if he wants to keep the element of surprise, he has to continue to act swiftly and without warning.
So before he's even uttered the last syllable of that, he brings his weapon forward and casts Blizzaga into the wave cresting at her feet, aiming to freeze it solid around her if it connects properly.
no subject
Triple Firaga should do the trick. Three blasts of Firaga aimed at him. Her spell would hopefully cancel out his.
"You know this won't end well." Not for him at this rate.
no subject
Then, he disappears from view again, backing into a portal. It opens again at her side, as he lunges out of it and swings Void Gear in a series of blows, ending with a slashing arc of energy.
no subject
"Be smart for once and lower your Keyblade, Vanitas!" Fighting wouldn't do them good right now. Though she doesn't like what Van stood for, he was still the other half of her best friend. All the evil things he did, maybe there was a chance he could knock it off for a while. Darkness wasn't inherently evil, but portrayed that way for those who used it for evil means. Maybe Van was the same way.
no subject
Her urging goes ignored, as he next sends a Dark Thundaga her way, whipping up sand and ocean spray as the lightning instantly vaporizes the surf.
no subject
Hopefully all those blows would be enough to knock him off his feet.
no subject
But he's not down for more than a couple seconds, before he springs back to his feet with a swing of his legs for momentum. And stands there, breathing a bit harder than usual and glaring through his helmet's visor.
Stubbornness makes him continue; she got lucky with that last attack, that's all. Raising his Keyblade again, he throws spell after spell at her, his strategy momentarily flying out the window as he's blinded by anger. Firaga, Blizzaga, Thundaga... he dishes them all out one after the other, before he sinks into the ground and attempts to blind-side her again from below.
no subject
In the time Vanitas disappears from her sight she casts Cure again, healing her body and forcing herself to keep going. He's wearing her down and himself down. At the rate they were going, they'd faint and who knows who'd wake up first.
"Enough!" she yells, doing a double jump before he hits her from the ground. She throws a stop spell at him, trying to get him to freeze in his tracks.
no subject
Like now, when he sees that attack too late to avoid it. It comes on the heels of his own Firaga spell, before he's hit full in the chest with it, freezing him solid with Void Gear griped in both hands before him.
no subject
Or does she take the chance now to smack him down like a fly and end everything all over again?
"Have you learned nothing from the past, Vanitas? There is no point in fighting me." Not when the outcome is always the same.
"Stop your taunts and fights. This is your first and final warning, Van. Take the chance to start over. But if you don't, if you want to harm anyone else... I will not hesitate to bring my Keyblade down on you." There's conviction in her voice as she stares him down with the hope her words reach him and makes him reconsider his decision.
She has the chance to walk away from their fight as the victor, all she has to deliver is a final blow to the back of his neck and he'd be out. Instead she takes a step back, waiting for her spell wear off. This is his chance. Walk away to show he could change, or charge at her again where she's prepared with another spell to hurl at him.
It's all up to him now.
no subject
Instead, he retorts, voice with a hard, deadly edge to it. "My name isn't 'Van', and if you call me that again, I'll see to it that everyone you love dies choking in their own blood."
Yeah, that would be a no, none of what she just said got through to him. But he knows the fight is futile, now, and isn't about to waste any more time or energy on it. He's lost the element of surprise, and a draw is better than another loss. "This isn't over. It'll never be over, until I say it is. Got it?"
And with that, he opens another portal and ducks back into it, closing it behind him before she has a chance to follow.
no subject
"Hey, is there something I can help you with?"
no subject
"Huh? Ahh, no. I was walking around to get myself familiar with this place."
no subject
"Yeah, this place can be a little confusing at first. I take it you were just let out of the hospital?"
no subject
"I was released yesterday and tried out this mobile device for the first time. I'm slowly getting the hang of it."
no subject
Carol extends a hand in greeting.
no subject
"Nice to meet you Carol, I'm Aqua. Why the name Captain Marvel, if you don't mind me asking."
no subject
"It's my code name. I'm a superhero working with the Avengers."
no subject
"The Avengers? Who are they exactly?"
