I wasn't expecting to come to this place, but it is a nice area. [Though it is centered around the wrong time frame, let alone the wrong world.]

A wonderful reminder of days long past, but its simply that. A reminder. The future's waiting and I must return to it. Before Pluto and the rest of my Senshi begin to worry.

Any information about this place, how it came to be, or a way home, would be most appreciated.

Seeing the view from a rooftop is truly amazing. Reminds me a little of home. [Seeing the stars at night is always a favorite past time of hers, even at this age.]

A romantic notion and more, something I'm sure people have done before, but haven't been hurt. [Hopefully.]

Cosette? A very lovely name. [Also familiar, but she can't remember where. Or maybe she's reading too much into things.

Serenity chuckles softly, looking down at her folded hands on her lap for a briefly moment.]

I am. I met my husband when I was young, perhaps around your age. Any time we could spent together was cherished. Stolen moments that lead up to a lifetime together.

Yes, that's just like Cosette and I. Her father is very protective of her, so we may only see eachother for short moments each day...

I can understand the reasons why her father would want to protect her. I feel the same of wanting to protect my daughter.

I...[She lets out another soft chuckle, this one a touch more sad as she remembers something.] now know how my mother felt when I first met with my husband. How worried and protective, but she and I have learned to let go and let destiny run its course.

Usagi, it's Japanese. We both come from Japan, an oriental country far from Paris.

Science is something that man kind has had and discovered. Magic is of the divine, when the two are combined together they can create wondrous things. The device, or phone, is man made. It's a piece of the future. An testament to what man kind has achieved.

[Really, this young man is too sweet for words. His lovely young lady will be lucky to have him.]

I hope so too, but I won't dwell on it too much. I know she's being taken cared for and happy with the rest of our family.

It's certainly a marvel! I only wish we had such things in my time. A...phone, yes, this would make coordinating meetings much simpler for Enjolras and Combeferre, I believe.

[He chuckles a little, though, imagining his friends with these sort of devices. Jean Prouvaire would be the sort to ask all who had them philosophical questions over the shared space, and Grantaire would spend entire meetings in the Musain making snide commentary on his phone about whatever Enjolras was giving a rousing speech about.]

They make things simple, but at the same time can make things more complicated than need be.

[Yes, phones were wonderful, but at the same time...it was hard to maintain a conversation with someone while texting someone else. But the devices do come in handy.

Another nod as a fondness appears in her eyes.]

When you rely on technology too much, for some it can become a crutch.
