Who: Sarah and anyone else!
What: Trying to do errands and not be too much of a cat.

Having cat ears and a tail did cause quite a stir with Sarah. At first she thought she was high off of something, drunk or a combination of both. After the initial shock, touching her tail and ears and eating 2 cans of tuna later, she came to accept the situation. It could've been worse. At least she wasn't a full on cat like Bowtie and able to help him out. Though...she was doing more than helping, her instincts were telling her the adorable kitten was her own, making her want to do more than give him a place to stay and food. She was out getting a few things to make her home more...homely.

Such as two more pillows, better brushes to comb hair and fur, cat treats and of course no shopping trip would be complete without tuna. She wanted to stock up on more in case the store ran out. Now she could get from the store back to her home without any distractions....right?

Of course, with so many people changing, Dick went to check on those he knew.

Like Sarah.

With both a bottle of rum in his hands and a little laser pointer in his pocket. Just in case.

He knocked on the door, easy and calm (and not cat-tified).

"Hey, Sarah? You home?"

If Dick wanted to really make Sarah happy and loopy, a bottle of rum wouldn't do it. Nope, catnip would. When she hears the knocking on her door she's there to open it two seconds later. Upon opening the door Dick would see her ears and a half-smirk on her face.

"Yeah, course I am." she takes a look at the bottle of rum and raises her eyebrow at him.

"You really need to stop doin' that. You'll get caught sooner or later." Heaven forbid the Boy Wonder gets caught doing this and lands in jail. She opens the door further and takes dick by the hand to lead him inside and right to her small table.

"Sit, let me get you something." And maybe groom him in just a moment.

Hey, he wouldn't bring catnip to a human-looking person! It just seems... wrong. And she can keep the rum for when she's back to normal.

He grins up at her.

"The only thing I'm doing wrong is getting the alcohol. It's not illegally made - because those things can contain all sorts of things mixed up in them, so I wouldn't trust them - and I don't drink it, because that'd be just unwise of me. So even if they catch me, I'll sneak out with a relatively clear conscience. Nobody got hurt."

Yes, yes, he's following her lead. Though he'll probably draw the line at grooming. Human saliva is not very sanitary.

But the catnip would give Sarah loads of entertainment and fun! Way more so than the alcohol ever could! But that would have to be proven later on as she still had to find some for herself. Though the alcohol was appreciated, it didn't mean she'd have a drop of it right now. Maybe later though...

"Yeah, but you shouldn't be getting me liquor to begin with. I can steal it myself." there's a playful lit to her voice at the end. She was trying to make something of a joke.

As for grooming, she has brushes! They need to be broken in and Dick's hair NEEDS to be brushed! She brings him to the table, forcing him to sit in a chair while she makes a tuna sandwich for him. And will not be taking 'no' for an answer.

"And then you'd be caught. Besides, stealing is wrong."

He more... charms people into letting him buy it. Or leaves the price behind.

"I think things're good as they are!"

Though, food? A growing boy? Yeah, he'll take it.

"Sarah, that smells fantastic. You're having one with me, right?"

Her joke must've gone over like a lead balloon. She rolls her eyes at his reply, continuing to make him a sandwich.

"No, it's all yours." she brings him out a plate with chips and the tuna sandwich, putting it right in front of him. Once she sets that down, she goes through her bag to bring out another brush.

"Go a head and eat. I'm not that hungry for the moment." Spoken as she's right behind him, hugging his shoulders before attempting to brush his hair.

No, his answer was light and easy and joking, too. He's just. Pointing out facts.

"Hey, but what if I like having company to eat? I mean, eating alone gets kind of... boring, after a while."

Dick leans back into the hug, though, without hesitation. Though he might shake his head away from the brushing.

"Though I suppose it's fine if you're not hungry."

What is it with kitten who don't to get groomed? Even Bowtie didn't want to have the brush (a different one, meant for actual kittens) to touch his fur.

"I'm not leaving you alone. I'm right here." And continue to watch him and make sure he stays out of trouble.

When Dick leans back into the hug, Sarah will hold him to her. She'll even lower her head to press her cheek to his to nuzzle, making her soft ear brush against his hair. When was the last time she showed this kitten attention and affection? She should make it up to him.

"I ate earlier, don'rt worry."

He's a teenager who wants to be in charge of his own appearance, thank you very much.

... but hugs? Hugs he can take any day. Every day.

"Snap. You sure? It really smells good, though I think you can smell it even stronger."

Despite his comment? Yeah, Dick just turns around in his chair, tucking his legs under him, and gives her a proper hug back.

He's not a teenager, he's a kitten who needs to take better care of his hair. At least that's what Sarah will argue if he doesn't cooperate. If not...motherly guilt could work.

"I already ate like I said and if I'm hungry I'll fix something up later." She was preparing for him to pull away to start eating on his own, but to her surprise he hugs her back.

A grin comes over her face as she holds him tightly to her, as though she's trying to protect him from the rest of the world. All the love and affection she'd have for Kira is passed onto him. the hug will last for several long seconds before she pulls back to look at him.

"Go on and eat. I'd rather not have you pass out from hunger."

His hair is well taken care of, really. Alfred wouldn't have it any other way!

Plus, his mom was fine, until she wasn't. Guilting him might not be easy.

"Hey, I'm in no danger of that. It's okay." Dick smirks up at her. "If you're really fine, I guess I might take my attention away from you for long enough."

Tease tease tease. She's confusing him and worrying him a bit, so he reacts as he always does to things like that.

How could she be confusing him? All Sarah wants to do is take care of him for as long as he's in her home, he's her kitten. ...And even if he leaves, she will still drag him back to her home to take care of him. Besides! His attention should be on his food, not her!

"I am fine." And just for emphasis her ears are pointed upward just to assure him. If her words won't do it, she'll pull back from him and gesture to the plate on the table.

"Go on and eat, your food's getting cold."

Siiigh. (Women are always confusing, doesn't she know that?)

"Yes, ma'am."

And he digs in. Because teenager and food.
