There's been some inquiries of late regarding hospitals and the local doctors and such. I understand that not many of you are exactly trusting of the doctors that run the hospital we're all shuffled through upon entry, so I just want to remind everyone that there is an alternative. We at Baker Street Surgery are confidental and discreet. Please be safe with your summer adventures and know that if you do get injured or sick that we can be trusted. Just note that if you require help outside of clinic hours, that there may be an additional fee.

What are clinic hours and medical advice for avoiding dying if we happen to get hurt at a really weird hour like 3am?

Clinic hours operate between 8 in the morning to 6 at night. The charge mostly concerns house calls and the like. Emergencies are obviously going to be handled a little differently.

I mean, I haven't exactly had a lot of emergencies or anything but if the situation arises in which a lot of emergencies happen that's okay right?

Right. Part of my duty as a medical practitioner. I couldn't take money in good conscience if someone needs first aid right away. I'm not an American doctor, after all.

Good. I mean, not that I'm planning to get my ass kicked at weird hours or anything but it's good to know.

I'll have the emergency line up soon. Just as soon as I can secure another phone.

Do you need any help? I'm not medically trained or anything but I'm good at heavy lifting.

Not as of right now, I think, but I do appreciate the offer. I may one day need your assistance in an island-wide emergency situation, if you're able, of course. Only administering first aid care until either myself or the hospital staff can take care of the wounded.

Do you know any first aid, at least?

I can bandage wounds, apply pressure, and take temperatures.
