[Guess what day it is! It's the start of school, but she doesn't know it. The thought has completely left her mind as she moves her hand to hit the snooze button on her device. It had to be the fifth time, but instead the video option turns on. The alarm is still going off with Rogue's hand still moving around until she hits the snooze button again.

Letting out a groan she tugs the covers up over her body and rolls over again.

The video captures her sleeping for another minute before shutting off.

Anyone care to wake her up?]

[...Did the device suddenly get an upgrade or is she hearing this correctly?

She reaches over to grab the damn thing to look at it. Her vision is blurry, but she does take notice of the date.]

How...? [Her brain is slow on the uptake. She was trying to sleep! Sleep was good! Wonderful even!]

[He switches the feed to video, and tries his best to keep any amusement from his expression.] It's only 45 minutes till the first bell, Rogue.

[There's a deadpanned stare as she looks at him.]

...haha, very funny Koizumi. [He's gotta be joking, no way today's the first day of school...

She moves her device away, intent on putting it back on her nightstand.]

[He smiles, unable to help looking a little amused.] Ah, it indeed might be, if I were joking.

[The more he looks amused, the more she thinks it's a joke.]

Yeah, yeah. You're joking, just knock it off and let me sleep.

[There's an expelled breath that might have turned into a laugh, had it not been quickly suppressed.] I'm afraid I'm not joking, Rogue. Today is September 2nd, the first day of school.

If it weren't, I'd like to think I know better than to risk being the one to wake you before you wanted to get up.

[The breath he exhales sounds pretty darn close to a laugh to Rogue. She sets the device on her nightstand, giving Koizumi the perfect view of her ceiling.]

Uh-huh. If this were urgent your tone would be different. [Like her tone was now; dry and not in the mood for nonsense.]

Well, it's not terribly urgent yet, as we still have forty minutes.

However, if don't believe me, it really would not be that difficult to check the calendar on your phone.

[She lets out a huff. Fine if he wants to play it that way, then she'll give in.

She grabs her phone, checking the date only to read what it says next to it.]

...Damnit. [The video function turns off, but audio stays on.] You could've told me sooner!

Of course. My apologies. [His voice is still lightly amused, and he doesn't point out that that's exactly what he's been trying to tell her this entire conversation.]
