Who: Aqua and YOU!
What: It's hot, way too hot for anyone's likening and finding out your bff is gone REALLY sucks, so what better way to kill two birds with one stone than casting blizzard spells?
When: Today 9/7
Where: Far corner of the beach.
It was hard to swallow Terra was gone. He had managed to slip through her fingers again. Aqua had tried to make contact with him after he first arrived, but figured maybe he was making friends. She should've known something had happened. The same could be applied to Vanitas. He had been quiet since their last and only fight, but thought he was staying out of trouble. Did something happen between Terra and Vanitas that made them leave? Did Vanitas have a hand in Terra's sudden departure?
More and more questions ran through her mind making the guilt and worry grow. The heat wasn't helping either. The only thing she could do to channel her energy into was casting once ice spell after another along the beach. She managed to freeze a small portion of the water, allowing her to stand and throw her spells out to the horizon.
You had the chance to see him and wasted it. Shoving the thought aside and swallowing her own guilt she threw out another Blizzaga spell, creating strong icy winds and snow before throwing it out to the sea.

"Thought it could cool everyone off." she replied in a deadpanned voice.

"Why are you here, Kirk? I'm not in the mood for a movie."

"I want to believe they're okay. I want to believe Terra is doing better, but I will never know! I had the chance to make up for lost time and I stupidly thought he was busy. I didn't check up on him, or Vanitas. Something could've happened and I wasn't there!"

Becomes possessed by their enemy. It's hard for her to swallow the lump in her throat. So many times she's tried to believe, always teetering on the edge. She was able to be pulled back before, but now she wasn't sure.
"...He will have to go through things no one should have to go through. I could've done something, but I didn't."

"...upset with myself for not being there for my best friend. I didn't think was wrong, that him being quiet was him being busy. What kind of friend doesn't notice these things?"

"Don't leave without saying goodbye, okay?"

"Sure," he doesn't hesitate, "I won't."

He considered turning around and leaving her be, but... Well, she had lost someone important to her. In that situation, he'd probably want company, even if he wouldn't admit it to anyone else. She could tell him to leave if she wanted to be alone. He had to at least see if there was anything he could do.
He continued his walk, approaching her slowly. "Hey there," he called gently.

So what could she do to get rid of her frustration and distract herself with? By letting it bleed out into her power and say she was training.
In her hands was the beginnings of another blizzard spell, ready to throw out into the open air and let it collide with the water. She was ready to bring her arm back out and complete the spell when she heard someone calling out to her gently. The energy in her hands was dispelled, the energy and magic released back to where they belonged as she took a deep breath to school her expression to a stoic one.
From there she turned around to face the new person, standing on her own mini ice burg.
"Hello."

He drifted closer, though he struck a careful balance - close enough to be able to talk softly and be heard fine, and where it wouldn't be awkward for her if she wanted to close the distance, but far enough that he wasn't crowding her, and she had her space if she needed it. He gave her a soft smile, but it was a smile that recognized the sorrow and respected it, not one that ignored it or tried to make light of it. He wasn't here to stop her from being sad - he was just here to help or support her if she needed it. "How are you holding up?"
