 So I've heard from a couple of people that I was here before. Don't know how much I'm actually supposed to know about that, obviously I don't remember anything, but I'm guessing the best way to meet new people around here is just to rebuild the relationships I already had.

I guess this is an open invitation to say hello if you knew me well when I was here before. I understand it's probably a bit annoying that you'll have to deal with me getting to know you all over again, but there's not much I can do about it.

It's all so quiet lately. Is everyone all right? I can come visit if you need me.

I'm not sure when we'll be getting a release list this month. But I can tell you that Chief Lin Beifong is no longer here. Nor Officer Julie Grigio, or Ms. Carol Danvers. I'm sure there are probably others as well, but I don't have a final list. I'm sorry.

[There's a heavy pause, and a sigh. When he speaks again, his voice is slightly strained.]

Is there a way to figure out who all's here on this island? I probably should have just asked at the hospital, I just... wanted to see if there was anyone I might know.

Good afternoon everyone! I have extra space at the daycare center, now that we've removed all the old shelves, so if you have a pokémon you would like me to watch for you, bring them down! I'm lowering prices, as well, so it will only be fifty pokémoney to have me take care of one, plus fifty per level they gain, instead of the usual.

As a reminder, Chansey and I are more than willing to help out any injured pokémon you might have, and we sell fresh volcano cookies and any herbal supplements you might need!

Be careful at your gym battles, okay? They can be really rough on your friends.

Ah, and if anyone is any good at carpentry, I have a few jobs for you! I need to get a shelter built in the yard for the larger pokémon, and I want to turn the shorter shelves into beds for the smaller ones! Oo, which reminds me, I'm going to need to order a lot of thneeds...

Miss Danvers, if you wouldn't mind stopping by, your Tyrantrum had an egg this morning! I thought they would; they get along very well! I hadn't expected it quite this soon, though. Your ditto seems to be attempting to incubate it.

And Miss Ukraine, you had mentioned that if I came across a Skiddo egg, you might like one? One of the ranchers was having me raise his Gogoat a few levels, and she had an egg that he didn't want. I thought of you right away! I'll have it ready for you, if you'd like to come get it!

Itsuki... I think Artemis is ready to go home. She and Alphonse really hit it off, but she misses you and Apollo. Will you come see her?

[Lin is standing on an earthen dais in a well-lit cave, a large mound of metal-coated boulders piled behind her, her arms crossed and a smirk on her face.]

If none of you new trainers are ready to face me, fine. But you need the Silver Badge to compete against the Elite Four, so I'll see you here sooner or later. Make sure you're ready, because we won't take it easy on you. It won't do you any favors to be babied. You know where to find me.

Hello again, New Moore! Isn't this morning just wonderful?

It's been some time since my last network post, and there is much to discuss... like, for instance, my hospitalization at the hands of a certain snow queen; or the fact that a strange robed creature is now sharing my quarters (is it even human?).

But, for now, let's turn our attention to a more pressing matter: my woefully empty gym that you, as a future Pokémon Master, would do well to visit!

Do you specialize in dark-type pokémon? No, of course you don't. That's why I'm here for you! It's quite simple, really. Defeat me and earn your gym badge, or lose and earn nothing. Well, other than experience. Nothing pays quite like experience! Even if that experience is one of crushing loss...

So step right up, young trainers! Your little friends aren't going to train themselves!

[A hushed rustling sound grows behind her voice, like trees before the precursor winds of a storm, but the skies are clear and there's not much in the way of wind today.]

[Her voice shakes, strained with grief, but rage is swiftly overtaking it. If you'd thought you'd heard her angry before, that was nothing in comparison.]

[He sounds mildly puzzled by this, but unbothered. Then he hesitates, glancing down from the camera.]

I... I'm sorry if I made anyone worry. I wasn't thinking straight.

[Set up in Sheska's room, the phone is getting a great view of what an absolute mess she's made of it. There are clothes everywhere. The woman of the hour is wearing red and black lace chemise and pouting into the nearly empty interior of her closet.]

Oh my gaaaaawd... I have, like, nothing to wear. This is awful! What was I thinking when I bought all this junk? I guess it's fine for work, or whatever, but you can't go out in this stuff! I mean look at this.

[She pulls out a lavender lace dress, holding it up in disgust.]

What am I, sixty? Are we having a tea party? Puh-leeze. I need something fun and fresh and attractive already. Alright...

[She spins to face the camera with a brilliant smile, one foot cocked and arms up in a little victory sign.]

Shopping spree~ I am way overdue for a new wardrobe. Who wants to come with~?

[Looking into the camera, Koizumi looks pretty awful - generally rough and disheveled. Truth be told, he is looking a little gaunt as well, as though he hadn't been eating for a while. The worst part, however, is his expression: quietly depressive, despondent - he looks like even something as simple as making this video message is a struggle. When he speaks, his voice is exhausted and melancholic.]

Ah, Carol-san? I apologize for missing our last few sessions. I'm afraid I'm going to be taking a break from training until further notice. There are some... personal issues I may need a while to work out.

[He opens his mouth as if to say something else, but nothing else comes out. He looks confused for a moment, and after a long pause he simply reaches out to shut off the video feed.]
