Hey kid, I've got an idea for something you could try to 'make' since that pizza thing didn't work out. Wanna attempt to make some alien booze?

I am keeping this outfit. It will make a great Halloween costume.

Captain Bucky, can I just say, it was awesome being a part of your crew. Really awesome. And I know it was all sort of not real, but if you ever need another crew mate you can always count me in.

Uh. Also- those absences from school are excused, right?

Speaking of pirates... I was just wondering if their might have been something to the whole sextant thing? I mean it can't hurt to try and look for it anyway, right? Like a treasure hunt? It could be kind of fun. Maybe?

[Message to Teddie]
Hey we should try and see about getting you on the A-track for your math class next free day you have. I think I have a few new tactics for you to try that might help.

[Message to Garrus]
I'm really really really sorry about that pizza.

Really.

I think I need to scratch all that and go back to the drawing board. Those were definitely not the right compounds for dextro or levo...

[Message to Dr. Banner]
I think I only got about half of the lab reports checked over. They might be a little late? I'm sorry. I got a bit distracted after all the pirate stuff.

Hopefully we've all settled back down after that bizarre sudden history lesson in old human piracy, so it's time to get back down to business around here.

Basically, the police department is seriously lacking in manpower now. So consider this an open invite, or recruitment, message to anyone on the island who might be interested. If you at least know which end of a gun the bullets come out of, head down to the station to talk to Shepard.

If it helps, there's a signing bonus up for grabs for the first three people. Who doesn't enjoy an extra incentive, hm?

So Shepard, after all that ridiculousness, how about we get a drink? Or ten?

Who: Timothy Gregor and all who come to rescue him
What: The search for a kidnapped child
Where: The intermixed fictional/nonfictional elementary school
Warnings: Possible crime scene.

Summer days and the most deserted buildings in New Moore are the schools. It's an eerie sort of place in the summer. The halls empty and silent. Last years posters hang forgotten in the halls. Empty rooms full of books and clay and tiny desks. Through the entire building there's a dead silence that weighs on the air, heavy and nearly tangible. The sort of silence you only encountered in forests after gunfire.

Who: Garrus + anyone else
When: Friday evening
Where: Outside a Starbox
What: Another victim of the mysterious string of deaths
Warnings: Crime scene. Dead NPC

It's a surreal sort of irony for a cop car to be a crime scene. Anyone passing by might have thought the officer inside had merely closed his eyes for a moment to rest and wait for his partner to return. Slumped in his seat, Officer Jakob Harlem is far from sleeping. He's very much deceased. There are no signs of a struggle, no tampering with the car. The only apparent piece of the crime scene 'out of place', beyond the missing ticket ledger.

Garrus, the officer who called in the death, is still on the scene, but Harlem's partner had been sent home on forced leave to deal with the trauma of his Partner's death.

[OOC Recap, the story so far: Jenny makes a statement about the three mysterious deaths; The fourth victim dies in Juanes, A fifth victim falls dead in the New Brew coffee shop.]

[ While monitoring the radio for the NMPD, one of the officers hadn't responded for a while. After checking who was the closest and finding it was himself, Garrus had gone to check it out.

And came upon a rather unfortunate discovery.

Jakob Harlem, the officer in question, was slumped dead in his patrol car. He had apparently died when his partner had left to go get them coffee.

So Garrus' voice appears over the network, tone serious. ]

Officer Vakarian requesting more officers and medical, near the coffee shop. Officer down in patrol car, assistance needed.

[ Having spent most of his time at the hotel or the police station since his arrival, Garrus figured it was high time he actually checked out his 'assigned' living space. He'd spoken with his roommate over the network; Peter Parker, he seemed like a nice enough kid.

Taking out his key, he entered the apartment and looked about. He wasn't entirely accustomed to typical human settlements, considering he'd spent most of his life on the Citadel or space ships. It was still a bit of a learning experience, especially since New Moore appeared to be rather... outdated. ]

Parker? You around?

[ So the video starts and one would get a face full of Turian. Yup, an alien. Despite not having humanoid features, he manages to obviously look rather befuddled. ]

So... while I'd all be for selling the rights to my Archangel days for some vids, I don't think that's what these people meant. Did I black out and land on some bizarre human colony? Can't say the name 'New Moore' rings any bells.

Shepard, are you here? Although I doubt I'd be so lucky.
