Hi, everyone! I'm trying to figure something out, but I'm not getting anywhere. I can tell I'm not the only one who ran into the "you're not real and none of your memories are either" people, so if you've got more experience with them, don't worry about ruining the puzzle for me! Just help me out here: what's their angle?

I mean, you don't have to be as clever or beautiful as me to see it's some kind of scam. Shady strangers telling you an outlandish story and giving you something for "free?" I actually find the lack of subtlety a little insulting! But... [sigh] I can't get inside their heads. If this were about keeping a bunch of people stuck here for some creepy reason, you'd think they'd at least take our Pokemon and our stuff away, right? And of course I checked the convenient hotel room for a hidden camera or something, and it's definitely clean. So what are they getting out of this? Nothing up front, and I didn't have to agree to anything...
