I think I may actually be starting to like coffee. It's strange. I never used to like it, and now I've gone through all of the left over beans from when Kate was here. But I don't actually know a thing about coffee.

Can anyone help me figure out... What makes a good coffee?

Wow, okay, lets start with how there are a lot of you on here. I mean, okay, this whole stuck-in-an-alternate-reality-where-we-are-all-allegedly-fictional thing is apparently pretty popular, or, you know, whatever it was that dragged all of us here is pretty powerful. Short of being able to go home I guess all the indications are getting settled is the way to go so, hi, I'm Billy. We can just pretend I gave the obligatory paragraph and a half about how I really need to go home as if that'll make that happen.

Is there anything they didn't tell me that I need to know? I am all ears. Or just saying hi, that works too! No better way to get into a new universe you're stuck in without getting to know the other kidnapees, right?

for the LAST time, if you ask me if you can be in the next round of "hot or not," I will purposefully pick the super ugliest pic of you for everyone to laugh at. True story.

All right, so I’m almost four weeks late on this year’s New Years’ Resolutions. They’re pretty straightforward, but they took a while to put together, between the paperwork, the renovation, and the sewing.

One: school. I’m on track to receive my Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Criminology in five months. Getting my degree a year early means last semester was crazy and this one was worse, but as much as I’ve enjoyed school… it’s time for me to get out and do something else.

Two: business. Don’t worry, nothing’s changing at the New Brew. But I’m branching out. I’m reopening Sifu Caerula’s guan. I bought the building when she left, and… it’s time it wasn’t empty any more. I’m looking to hire more instructors, but I’ll be teaching three classes a week myself in mixed martial arts, with an emphasis on kung fu and jeet kune do. I’ll be keeping membership costs low, and I’ll be asking the Avengers to spend some time as guest instructors whenever they’re free. Speaking of which...

Three: cape stuff. I haven’t always been the best team player, and nobody knows it better than me, but it’s something I want to work on. I’ve been liasing and coordinating with the Avengers for some time, but I was stubborn about keeping it at that. I have trust issues. It’s hard for me to give up control. But control’s an illusion.

I’ve asked to join the team officially, and I’m hoping to hear back soon.

Four: Okay, this part’s largely ceremonial. But I’m not the same person I was when i first arrived here. I don’t think the same way, I don’t fight the same way, and… it’s just time to move on. So say goodbye to Red Robin, and the cowl, heavy cape, and bandoliers. Say hello to Redwing.



If anyone had any lingering doubts that 7@1 was the best designer tailor shop in town, I think this ought to put them to rest.

It's been a weird year, and I'm sure we're due for another one.  But I'm looking forward to it.

[ The voice isn't exactly clear at first, but it sounds like wheezing. Jack's voice comes in over the mic, weak, and entirely uncharacteristic of him. ]

Help. I... I'm.. I'm dying. I can't.. I can't stop.

[ He coughs, and what sounds like dirt hitting concrete is heard near the phone. ]

Make it stop. Please god make it stop.

[ He coughs again and begins to choke. The sounds continue on for a few minutes while he struggles, slapping the ground and kicking while he struggles for life.

And silence.

At least for a few minutes before he gasps back to life and hits the phone in his waking, turning the feed off. ]

[The face of one exhausted and stressed dispatcher looks out from the screen, a lovely set of bruises marking her cheeks and forehead, culminating in quite the shiner. Setting her glasses straight with hands shaking slightly in the way of someone running on more caffeine than sleep, Sheska leans forward earnestly.]

As I'm sure you're all keenly aware, something odd is happening again. Mysterious wounds and injuries have been turning up on people. These are not the results of someone sneaking into your home and attacking you in the night. On this wide a scale and with such a variety of injuries, this is most certainly the island's doing again.

Please, if you are injured, the place to call is the hospital, not the police station. Though I would be more than willing to call the ambulance for you, it will be faster if you call them yourself.

As a reminder, if someone has fallen or hit their head, it's best not to move them, but to let professionals check them beforehand. For cuts, don't cut off blood flow with a tourniquet, but put pressure on the wound and elevate it if you can. It's best to keep an injured person warm, so don't be afraid to drape a blanket over them. It may get your blanket bloodstained, but you can buy a blanket. You can't buy a life, okay?

Please be careful, everyone! Tempers are high and people are on edge right now.

[And now he's talking normally.]The best story anyone can tell me is that I'm fictional. Really? Because I find that really hard to believe, and I've seen a lot of things.

I don't know what kind of joke this is - and if it is a joke, and if it's FitzSimmons or Skye, someone's going to pay, I swear - [There's a sigh.]

I need someone to fill me in on what's really going on.

Hey, Captain Marvel aka Carol Danvers here. Wow this is harder to write than I thought it would be. Okay, there is no easy way to say this so I'm just going to do my best to jump right in.

Something's wrong with me. I've been having those weird realistic dreams from back home a lot recently and as far as I can gather with the Doctor's help is that I have a brain lesion that's on the part of my brain affecting my powers. Whenever I fly it somehow moves deeper into my brain. We're still not sure what it does other than give me really bad headaches but it can be anywhere from make me loose all my memories to make me go insane.

Basically, I'm out of commission for I don't know how long. If there's a big emergency I will help out, so don't even try to stop me. But for the smaller stuff...
