Hey, Spitfire?
I kind of wanted to talk to you about work.

I mean, I love work!!!!
Actually...
I maybe wanted to know if I could do something more to help out...
Like, I pretty much got sweeping covered.
Maybe I could help Simca wash hair?
Simca, you could use help, right!!

Simca, I know we had some wine last night, but I don't think things got so wild to explain my getting married. It will certainly give us something to talk about with the girls at the salon at least.

Mister Mayor, I hope I didn't scare you. But since we're officially married now, it only seemed appropriate I carry you over the threshold. I'll bring home a nice dessert to celebrate, unless you wanted to try your hand at that cake?

Kazu-kun, is this a prank? It's very funny.

Finally...!

Do you know how hard it is trying to make a hat stay on with cat ears?? I had to cut a hole in the back of my pants, too. Jeez.

Last month, I considered teaching and I am still interested in taking on additional students, but this month and the following months, I would like to share with you the joy of things I've found here. I realize limiting myself is unnecessary, but the blogsphere of Earth typically necessitates some pattern, and I would like to follow that. Every month, I will share with you music I've found, but there may also be films, television shows, and even plays. Ah, the wonderful words of Oscar Wilde are best depicted through acting, even if I have not had the honor myself of witnessing The Importance of Being Earnest.

But that will come another time. Music first!

This month, I discovered the wonder of Johnny Cash. His most famous tune is Walk the Line, though perhaps that is because there is a film with that name. Many films feature this song in order to offer themselves some "legitimacy." It captures the truly masculine feeling of "Walking the Line."

To offer variety, I have further looked into the early punk genre. Tim Drake of the Brew offered me an insight to the Clash, but here is another addition to that genre: The Ramones. This is "I Wanna Be Sedated," which is again their most popular of songs, but it is difficult to miss.

As another genre switch, I have explored the many glorious tunes of the 60s girl groups, but I have broadened my horizons. I believe we should all be familiar with the 90s girl groups as well. They were edgy for their times. Salt-N-Pepa's Push It is an unavoidable earworm. They also provided sexual education lessons at one point. They were clearly a bold addition to the music sphere. After all, shouldn't we talk about sex when it is necessary?

Related to them is TLC, a considerably more talented trio also from the 90s. They also spoke about sex. Ah, but they had a dramatic turn some years ago when they lost their most interesting member, Left Eye. How unfortunate that she does not live on. But I do believe most are familiar with Waterfalls. If not, then that should change. This, too, is a thinly veiled reference to Earth-based sexual activity.

Finally, I have explored other openings of the Gundam franchise and I have decided I enjoy Uverworld quite a bit. They have also done openings for Bleach that are difficult to not enjoy. How can you dislike this?

I believe that is sufficient for this month.

There have been a lot of doppelgangers/alternative universes/evil twins appearing in the last week. Apollo's Mane is running a promotion to see who "wore it best" in terms of hair style. Losers receive one free hair cut voucher. Winners will have their photographs displayed in the shop.

Thank you for the demonstration yesterday, Simca. It was very enlightening.

Along the same lines of demonstrating—

I have decided to provide lessons to those who are willing in science and mechanical training. Among other things, of course, but I will start small. If you are interested, please contact me at [phone number] or at notmarvelboy @ nmail.com.

My time as a teacher was enlightening: though I was not myself, the act of teaching others is not difficult, even if I need to limit what knowledge I share.

Beyond that, it has been a truly interesting month here. I hope New Moore will continue to intrigue me.

I haven't been here that long.
But it already feels like a lot longer with everything that's happened.

Oh···················!!
I need some parts! Gears, wheels, screws, wires, dials anything like that. The more variety, the better.
Even some unique ones that you can't buy.
All different shapes sizes.

Anyone want to help a girl out? ~~-v(* ̄・ ̄)

Who: Kazu, anyone
Where: Just out and about anywhere, really.
When: June 20th
What/Why: Kazu's going on a night run to not work out any feelings he definitely doesn't have about making out with his not dead mentor.

[You may look outside your window--because you heard the screech of a SWEET GRIND, or saw something fly past your window, or maybe because you caught the glow of the embers--to see the quiet street below is on fire.

Kazu stands at the center of a blaze which, briefly, roars above his head before disappearing, leaving no evidence of it's existence besides Kazu, bent over and panting like he's been running all night.

Which, to be fair, he has.]

Who's hosting the after party? Simca and I will bring the wine coolers.

I don't think I'm going to wear this headband. Haven't decided.

Aaargh, I can't take it anymore!!

HOW MANY ALIENS ARE THERE IN THIS PLACE?!

You don't have to tell me I don't want to know.

—Fake? I don't believe it. I've heard many things, but being fake isn't why I'd be brought back to Earth. Then again, it wouldn't have been very hard to bring me back to where I was just leaving.

Ah.

Well.

I'd like to know your favorite parts of this part of Earth. Some of the things have ... different names than what I was used to. So, I should start anew.

The salon will finally open tomorrow. Apollo's Mane, across the street from a very sweet ice creamery.

I'm sorry it took so long to open the salon. Certain things with the bank fell through thanks to a misappropriation of finances. Apparently all the money the bank lent me became pieces of eight and royal emeralds. They were very pretty, but difficult to put as leverage for additional business loans. Does that happen a lot?

Simca, we're opening tomorrow, so try to come in when you can. I have a few pre-booked appointments, but I'll need help with the walk-in's. If anyone else would like to help, I'd be happy to pay you.

Let me know here if you're interested and we'll arrange for something soon. Don't make me come to you, I've been told I can be very abrupt with my criticism.

A-alright I don't know who decided to take the joke this far but the crack about me being an insignificant character hasn't been relevant for at least four plot arcs! Come on! If this is just another weird virtual A-T training, I get it. It wouldn't be the first time I've woken up in some weird-ass place... but this full-immersion shit is really pushing it. Calling a guy fictional really isn't funny when... well, it's just not. Just because someone exists in a different reality or medium or... whatever. Doesn't mean they're not real...
