Maybe it was flinching away from that instead.

Boys aren't very good candidates. However, in thinking about it, I suppose I can't afford to be picky when my primary demographic is so limited!

It is entirely possible a case has been reopened. These things accompany a feeling of both anticipation and dread within me, whereas I'm enthusiastic about finding a solution, yet disheartened by the human lives it may damage in its wake. Just an observation.

We need to meet up. I'm sure we've got a couple of flats of energy drinks kicking around in the stockroom at Juanes, so let's meet up and go over our options again! Consider this a standing invite to anybody who doesn't plan on going down easy.

Apparently they're only letting some people evacuate. Place doesn't have hovercrafts but now we're talking about rockets that will only take selected people off this miserable rock.

I have this feeling that something seriously not right is going on here...

For all of you who are unfamiliar with a comet collision, I will make this brief.

The comet with hit earth. Fragments may break off into the atmosphere, possibly causing multiple collisions. Six teratons, was it? Twenty-five megatons would flatten reinforced concrete buildings in a radius of five miles around ground zero. This would be four-hundred thousand times the force. And the worst they're worried about is a few tsunamis? It's enough to knock the earth from its axis. This tiny island, if not already obliterated by the impact, will be at the bottom of the ocean before it hits.

If we somehow do manage to survive the impact and its immediate after-effects, we can look forward to a post-impact winter. The comet should have enough force to knock enough dust into the atmosphere to make it bone-chillingly cold until the turn of the next century.

Classes will continue as scheduled.

... just because it's warmed up again, does that mean it's not the right season for kotatsu anymore?

And everything we'd need for nabe. Beef, chicken, duck, eggs, meatballs, pork, venison, salmon, crab, lobster, octopus, oysters... um and noodles and vegetables too!
