[Carol's mask and exposed hair are caked with ash. At the moment she seems to be in a shelter of some sort but the sounds of the mayhem are not far from her.]

Please remain calm as you evacuate your homes. If you are trapped and need help evacuating let us know here and we'll get the closest super to you as soon as possible. Take only the essentials. Food and clean water are top priorities.

I'll need all the flyers I can get on this one as well as anyone with increased durability. Report here as well if you can help with evacuation.

[For those that are familiar with it, Eleven is very clearly in the TARDIS - there is a familiar whirring in the background, and he's running in and out of the screen, fiddling with all sorts of complicated-looking dials and controls. The room seems to be shaking, and there are occasionally bursts of sparks in the background as the TARDIS strains with something.]

Hello everyone! I'm trying to slow down the lava flow, but if anyone gets into trouble or is trapped by it, I can come pick you up in the TARDIS. I'm afraid she can't support a significant portion of the island's population, so it's better to just leave her to rescues, if the rest of you can find your way to someplace safe.

Also! If anyone needs gasmasks, fire extinguishers, or medical supplies, I have several to hand out! If there are other things people need that I haven't thought about, let me know - I can probably help with those too.

Everyone, please don't go to the shore! Volcanic activity can sometimes trigger tsunamis that could flood the city, so please go for higher ground as far from the mountain as possible instead! And gas masks are VERY GOOD IDEAS RIGHT NOW!! Make sure as much skin as possible is covered to avoid getting burned!! Take care of small children, the elderly, and the infirm!! The people who should be evacuating first are those CLOSEST to the mountain, followed by everyone else, so we don't bottleneck and trap ourselves. BE CONSIDERATE OF ONE ANOTHER.

Out of curiosity, has anyone else been having their bad dreams come true, or is this just coincidence for me?

Wow, okay, lets start with how there are a lot of you on here. I mean, okay, this whole stuck-in-an-alternate-reality-where-we-are-all-allegedly-fictional thing is apparently pretty popular, or, you know, whatever it was that dragged all of us here is pretty powerful. Short of being able to go home I guess all the indications are getting settled is the way to go so, hi, I'm Billy. We can just pretend I gave the obligatory paragraph and a half about how I really need to go home as if that'll make that happen.

Is there anything they didn't tell me that I need to know? I am all ears. Or just saying hi, that works too! No better way to get into a new universe you're stuck in without getting to know the other kidnapees, right?

Hello everyone! Sorry I haven't been around recently - getting shot by daleks wasn't easy the first time round either, and it was all I could manage to drag myself to the zero room before I regenerated. Better now!

Is everyone all right, though? That kind of artron flow can be dangerous, even without the physical injuries that tend to accompany it.

The main thing that I've learned since my arrival here is that the island takes away what it gives. While to most this may seem sad and depressing, the most important thing that I've learned in my time here and beyond here is that the moment is what matters, not the big picture. Enjoy the wonderful things while you've got them, and don't forget to remember that you live moment to moment and to enjoy those moments, because they are brief, and must be savoured.

By the way, I'm engaged again. No date yet. Still letting the fiancée adjust to life here... It's kinda complicated, but trust me, I'm no less a happy man.

Yes! Hello everyone! I except many of you already know this, but the dogs and the bats that were out in force yesterday were just the beginning of the island's most recent trick. Be careful around anyone who was bitten by them, they might be infected - it seems that they were carriers of vampirism and lycanthropy.

I suppose I should be excited, I haven't met a werewolf since Queen Victoria! That was a busy day - I was knighted and then banished within minutes. Long story.

Anyway, I would advise staying in at night! If you have to go out, go in groups, and make sure someone knows where you are at all time. Carrying garlic, silver, and holy water would not be a bad idea. Try not to kill any of the werewolves or vampires, though! In all likelihood, they'll turn back to normal in a few days when the island gets bored.

Right. Um. I might be... absent from the TARDIS, for the next few nights. Nothing to worry about. Just make sure to stay inside when it gets dark, and don't let anyone in unless you're sure they're not infected.
