I assure you that it is not you. You haven't hurt anyone, the only ones that might be to blame for the people that are released are the government.

My best friend has had a similar problem here. You are both unlucky to be paired with people who leave so quickly - but neither of you are at fault.

Because everyone knows people that leave the island. I've had four or five roommates leave, myself. Some, like yourself, are unluckier in their roommate assignments than others - but you are no more at fault in your roommate's disappearance than I am in mine.

That's something we've been trying to figure out for a while... No luck, I'm afraid. But it's not just you. Everyone loses friends all over. Roommates too. I've lost three roommates, and I've been lucky. We're not sure why people come and go. There doesn't seem to be much in common - only that they're fictional like us.
