Goodness, it seems like the month is just flying by! At this rate, Hallowe'en will be here before we know it. What's everyone dressing up as this year? Last year I was a gryphon, and Once-ler did an amazing job on it, but I think I might want to do something different this year. Goodness knows what, though. There are so many options, it's hard to choose.

Oh. I didn't advertise costume commissions. I should do that... Or is it too late to do that? Some random people asked about it anyway so I do have at least four to do...

Mostly I have a lot of things to bake. [ mumble mumble ] If I put Peeta on more of those and focus on the pizzas and then pick up more costumes... no his time is better on decorating... but you really can't leave pizza baking to Gamzee... so then-

Oh! If you're that busy already, you probably don't want to pile even more on yourself. If people were here last year, they'll remember. If not, really, it sounds like you're swamped. Can I come help? We can at least get batches of ingredients ready to mix up in the morning so that it's less time-consuming.

And then you can look at Herbert's bowl because it's literally the greatest fish bowl ever.

Of course I'd like to help! You know me. Helping everyone, whether they want it or not, half the time. But if it wouldn't be putting my nose in where I'm not wanted, I would love to help. Maybe you can find the time to relax a little, too.

I honestly hadn't really thought about it! Usually I bring something, or stop off at the little deli down the street, or I have something of what everyone orders in. I didn't bring lunch today, and they weren't ordering, so.. Ah... I hadn't really been planning anything more complicated than a sandwich, or some soup.

I'll make sandwiches and soup.

Oh-- [She makes the little hopeless laugh of a person giving in to things gone far out of her control.] All right, if you insist!

Oh, I forgot all about that! I dressed as a lamb last year, but I can't really think of anything this year... It is pretty tough to decide, isn't it!

It is! I like the idea of picking something from an old wive's tale, or a myth, but they all tend to be so complicated at home, and they don't have much of anything on it in the library. We didn't have this at home, though, so it's a lot of fun to catch up on holidays I've missed!

I thought maybe my apartment in a few days. I invited a few others too, but everyone seems to be so busy right now. I'm not sure if they'll be able to make it. If you think that would be a problem, I can postpone it... I was planning on maybe the 28th?

Oh, I shouldn't think so! It's just finger foods. You know. Little things. I have everything for it already, since I'd been hoping to have it earlier, but my schedule suddenly got a little complicated, so I had to push it back. It's all right! Just bring yourself.

I haven't really thought about what I'll dress up as. Any suggestions?

Oh! Ooo, um... Goodness, well, did you want to be something you're not? Like a monster? Or something more apropos?

Not a monster, something with minimal makeup. A witch maybe?
