[the phone clatters on the ground, giving a very nice view of Jack's feet. He should probably say something, but the words are stuck in his throat, twisted and sour when he manages to speak in a stilted voice.]

--Ten seconds.

[and the feed dies. Is that snow outside? It pounds on the windows, nearly opaque as sheets of ice stick to the glass, spreading to the edges with a sickening crack. Two knocks, and the winter spirit goes tumbling in, already back on his feet, staff extended like a firearm. He doesn't see red, no, a shocking blue dances at the tips of his vision, and his weapon sparks, alive with magic.]

Get out.

[There's a wild look in his eyes. He's heard it all before. He doesn't care if Loki isn't harmed, as long as he has a target. God or vampire or whatever he is or not, he doubts a shot of ice aimed for the face is comfortable for anyone.]

[he notices. If he currently wasn't refraining from causing a city-wide power outage, he might even say something about it. Instead he shoots him a vexed look and kneels next to the bunny, listening, staff still pointed in Loki's direction. Gingerly, he scoops the bunny into his arms and goes to his room to make sure they really are fine. He comes back out with all four of them.]

Sorry guys, but we're going to have to make a short flight.

[ Loki is washing his face in a bowl, looking rather haggard. Being a vampire is aggravating all his usual emotions and his hair is unkempt, falling over his eyes as he scrubs the blood off, not too gently ]

I'm sure you must be trying so hard! You've never tried! My powers may not be able to hurt you, but keep in mind I could still make a block of ice around you to keep you in for as long as I want.
