I already knew everyone thought I was fictional so we can skip that. Hello.

I'd like to note that the ballpit doesn't have any of those tubes I get to crawl into like all big play places are supposed to have and this is a let down as a new arrival here. You know what I'm talking about, right? The ones with the tiny windows at dead ends and going through them makes your hair stick up with static and they always lead to a slide eventually?
You're really missing out not having those.

No, we weren't any of those things. We're warriors of the keyblade, meant to protect the worlds form darkness.

[Rolls her eyes but she nears the edge of the pit, takes off her shoes and puts her feet in.] There, I in.

What's the keyblade? Is a blade shaped like a key? Rather straight forward naming if that's true. You fight things with a key sword then? What sort of darkness? Bad stuff in general?

[ folds his hands behind his back while standing next to her. looks down at her feet ] That's it?

[Clearly, she has trouble letting go and letting her inner child play about.

Then again when she was a child she loved to read.

Aqua lets out a sigh and decides instead of answering the first two questions, she'll show him instead. She holds out her hand and summons a keyblade, letting Peter see first hand it's a blade in the shape of a key.]

Darkness, or the negative emotions in people's hearts, can manifest itself into creatures. While it is the opposite of light, it's not inherently evil. It's those that want to wield it's power that make it evil. That's what me and my friends fought against. [She releases the keyblade, letting it disappear again.]

[ Peter's expressing a genuine interest in it and while she explains he reaches one of his hands out to touch it, only she made it disappear before he could manage. ]

Is it a literal 'key to the heart' then? Ridding darkness it makes. Hearts are funny things, aren't they? Never heard about that creature thing before but I guess it makes sense. What happens if you hit a not creature with that?

I suppose it could be considered a key to the heart, but I wouldn't want to find out. As for hearts...they're powerful and have the capacity for good and bad. Just like their owners.

Oh, that? It acts as regular weapon as well. I've defeated a Titan and a God with it before. It doesn't kill them, but it can gravely injure someone.

They sure do.

I see. Can anyone do that? I'm sure you need the special training but if, say, someone took it and swung it around...

You wouldn't be able to do much with it. Keyblades are very picky with who they want as their wielder.

You sound sure of that. What if I fit it's picky standards?

The keyblade would've responded to you. You would've been able to feel its pull.

Maybe I did. Does it have to sparkle or something to register?

[She shakes her head.] No, it would appear to you like this...

[She summons the keyblade again, holding it out.]

See? But if you really want to try, hold out your hand and try to summon it to you.

People can't just hold it for you? I mean summoning it seems much. Nobody would be surprised if it didn't bother going anywhere. That is yours after all.

[ a tiny shrug. he's holding his hand out though. worth a shot. he's got a good heart right now. ]

They could hold it, but it wouldn't do them too much good. It's a bit heavy after a while.

[Sadly, the keyblade doesn't go anywhere. Technically, it's not even hers but her Master's. He gave it to her before he passed and her own keyblade was given away to save a friend.]

I'm afraid it won't come to you. It would've done so by now.

[ Drops his hand to his side with a slight frown ]

All well. I guess I'm not a giant key person.

It's for the better, then. [She dismisses the keyblade before going further into the ball pit.]

So should we head outside or do you want to stay in here?

We can go. I was going to shove you in but I think we can save that for another time.

Shove me in? [She just stares at him, not really believing he could do such a thing.]

I don't think you're strong enough to do that.

You know, you're at the edge of the pit and I just- [ makes a shoving motion with his hands ] Push you.

I'm offended you don't think I'm strong enough to tip you over. ...'Sides, it's not really a strength thing anyway. It's balance.

It is about balance and the element of surprise. But I was only teasing, I didn't mean to offend you.

Though that means now I have to keep my guard up a little more when I'm around you.

Your guard? Hmm. Only around ballpits after refusing to go in it a couple of times.
