Who: Rudy 3, Sirius Black, Lin Beifong
What: A fight and arrests
When: After the Rudys' post
Where: somewhere in the streets of New Moore
Warnings: Violence, foul language
Lin wasn't one to wait around, and having heard the accidental broadcast from the Rudy's, she wasn't about to waste time. Calling ahead to the office, she put out an APB for the boy and hit the streets. If she was smart, and lucky, the force would get him before he did any damage to any innocent people. She hadn't forgotten his alliance with Lensherr and his attacks at the hospital, even if everyone else had.

He waited outside his shop when the third Rudy got there, still not entirely sober, still in an abysmal mood without having gotten much sleep and while he hadn't drawn his wand, he was certainly ready to, should he have to.
"Looking for someone?"
no subject
"You, actually. I've got some questions for you." Without a moment's hesitation, he continues. "Alisha. Where's she gone?"
no subject
But as another incentive, not telling him a thing felt a bit as if he was still protecting her. As if he still could. As if she wasn't out of his reach forever, as if he didn't know that danger, death awaited her back home, things he couldn't save her from.
no subject
He shakes his head.
"There's nothing about her I haven't seen. So understand my full concern when I ask you: Where. Has she. Gone?"
no subject
But the way he talked, the way he wanted to provoke him, he felt entirely too raw not to have it bring his anger so close to the surface he could barely think past the desire to hurt him.
"There's nothing about her you've any right to see. Not now, not then, not ever. Fuck. Off."
no subject
"Are you going to make me? Hm? I've come here for just a few things, and I'm not leaving until I've got my answer. D'you understand me?"
no subject
"Think you'll have to learn how to ask nicer, mate. But I'll stand by my original answer." A deep breath and he straightened his shoulders. Just inches between them and he was ready. "Alisha is none of your business."
no subject
"Glad to see you've got about as much bollocks as I reckoned." He narrowed his eyes. "You're a coward. If you were half as sure of yourself as you think you are... you wouldn't hesitate to tell me where she is. After all, what's the danger if you can protect her, hm?"
There's the tight smile again, and a quick movement where he takes the kitchen knife tucked in the waist of his trousers and yanks it out and swinging at Sirius with it.
no subject
It's not surprising, after all Sirius had known he had a knife, but there are still only so many things one can do against an attack like that. He steps back, just enough time to at least move back a little, and throws his left arm up.
The left, not the right, shield hand instead of his wand hand. He doesn't even feel the pain when he's cut, just hears the tear of fabric, sees the drops of blood from the corner of his eye. No time to focus on it, though, so he ignores it. He tries to catch the wrist of the hand that holds the knife while moving around this Rudy, trying to get behind him.
"We'll see who's the coward."
no subject
"You're a prick and a bastard and you don't deserve her!" His voice is a hiss through teeth, careful not to raise his voice too loudly on a public street. "Bloody mongrel, you are. Not worth half what it would take to lick the bottom of her shoes!"
no subject
"I know that." No arguing with the madman, especially when he didn't entirely disagree. His grip around Rudy's wrist tightened before he suddenly did allow himself to be tripped, falling back while trying to keep their legs entangled to pull Rudy down with him.
"But she wanted me."
no subject
He was snarling now, his eyes blazing with hatred and rage. He took hold of his fallen knife again and lunged at Sirius, knife in hand and his free hand reaching for Sirius' neck.
no subject
If he had him pinned and controlled the knife hand, the hand at his neck should be easier to deal with.
no subject
"I'll fuckin' kill you. I'll kill you, and I'll find her.. and I'll kill her too. I'll rape her right on top of your cold, dead body and squeeze the life out of her."
no subject
He wanted to see him bleed, he wanted to break something, just to make sure it'd take a good long while to heal and he didn't want to stop hurting him.

Breaking into a ground-eating lope, she informed the office that she had a lead and was following up. They'd have reinforcements ready if she needed it. Now to see if she was right.
no subject
In fact, he smiled something sick and mirthful. "You couldn't do it. You couldn't. You've got a line, haven't you? Morals. You couldn't kill me. You really couldn't."
no subject
"Oh, I could. I just choose not to." His eyes narrowed and he almost reached for his wand. Almost. "But I could mess you up in more ways than you can even imagine. Make you forget everything I don't want you to know. Break your bloody mind into pieces."
no subject
She needed no weapons to hand, and was beside them in a moment, barking, "Black! Wade! Break it up!" If they wouldn't she'd have to forcibly pull them apart and pin Wade herself. Black was probably defending himself, but she needed more information.

Meanwhile, Sirius' rage hadn't actually died down yet, so it wasn't really a surprise that when he heard Rudy's teasing tone again, even if it wasn't directed at him, he wanted to hit him once more. Fist aimed right at his temple, the intent was to maybe knock him out for a while. Perhaps unconscious he could keep from harming him.

He bit his lip and stared at the wound, muttering a spell under his breath finally and then watching as it sealed shut. Not perfect by any stretch, but it'd do for the moment. "I disarmed him and pinned him to the ground. Guess he got me at some point, yeah." He looked down at the third Rudy, not yet feeling any regret for the savage beating of his face. Maybe eventually. "He tried choking me, talked about killing me. Raping Alish... her on my dead body."
Sirius shrugged. "She's gone. She'll die there. Soon. I can't stop that from happening. But I could hurt him."
no subject
Slowly, she released his arm, noting how the livid scar pulled, but didn't separate. Well that was a neat trick. Her face darkened over his account. If she were a lesser officer, she'd have given in to the urge to plant a swift, heavy kick between Wade's thighs, but it wouldn't do any good anyway.
Quietly, she said, "I'm sorry about Alisha. We're doing the best we can figuring out how the releases happen." Lin snagged her phone and switched it to camera mode, gesturing at his arm.
"May I? I'd like to get pictures of the assault so we can use it against him. The bastard deserves all the punishment he can get, and I intend to press for it. This would help."
no subject
"I need to let Rudy know."
