My life is terrible and a mess, so I'm giving a party tonight.

Alcohol, magic, drinking games enforced by magic, we'll party like it's Hogsmeade in 1976. Magic shop, soon as it's dark.

Point is, I don't know what's going on between you two, but I know she likes you and it was ALL ME. Not her. At all.

I don't want to ask her out. Look, Once-ler, Sheska is wonderful. She's precious and the nicest person there is and I'd do anything for her, but I don't like her that way. I liked Alisha that way. A lot. More than I thought I could, I guess.

And she left and she'll die back where she's from and I can't save her. If she comes back she won't remember me. I was so upset, I didn't think straight. Didn't think at all. I just knew Sheska was here and I didn't want her to leave, too, and it got mixed up with Alisha in my head and that's why.

I miss Alisha. I wasted so much time wrapped up in my own issues when I should've focused on her.

Look, hit me, hate me, whatever, I just want to not have ruined things with you and Sheska, because you deserve each other. If you like her that way. And I think you do, so. If you do, don't waste any more time.

Once you're done hitting me, that is.

Stop telling me who deserves who because I'm a little sick of everyone telling me to go do things with Sheska just to have people kiss her or OHH no it doesn't mean anything blah blah. No. Stop. Just. Cut it out.

I think the real focus should be on the fact that Alisha was going home to die and nobody told me?

[ drops his hands and takes a breath then points at him ] Are you stupid? Those aren't even real futures if that's where you learned it. They're fake. Alisha doesn't die, I don't live alone for fifty years in the middle of nowhere, and Karkat doesn't turn into some preechy red guy. She's fine. You can be sad she left but she's not going off to die. Why would you scare people like that?

I'm not going to do anything about it in any way. Do whatever you want to be doing, I didn't mean to mess anything up for you.

[Sirius stares at him for a few moments, because he knows it's not a fake future. Because he knows Alisha has learned it from more than one source, because he's talked to Rudy and so many other things. But there's really no reason for Once-ler to know. Alisha is gone.]

Well, it's already messed up and probably unfixable like that bloody stain on the living room carpet. Everything's just big jumbled mess. [ folds his arms and glares at him ]

Well if I knew who was involved then I'd go fix it but unfortunately nobody's informed me who has kissing rights to who here so I'm not even going to bother. ...I'm not going to hit you because if I started I'd break your skull in.
