[A bit hoarse and stuffy, Sheska sounds like crap. And while she no longer is covered in bruises, she has deep, dark circles under her eyes. The mug in her hands, which she's holding like it might be the only spot of warmth in the world, contains something far darker than tea, her usual hot beverage of choice, though it steams invitingly.]

Sirius, you don't owe me anything. But if you'd like to talk, I might be able to stop by the party later.

ACTION DAMN IT WHAT IN MERLIN'S NAME

[His eyes widen, but that's all before the transmission ends. And then there's a pop behind her and Sirius is in the room, immediately crouching down next to her and wrapping an arm around her.]

What happened, Sheska? Merlin, love, you look terrible.

[He reaches out carefully, brushing a knuckle along her cheek.]

You should have told me.

[She yelps and almost spills coffee all down her front, but she manages to get it settled before such a disaster.]

S-Sirius? What...? I-I'm fine, honestly.

[Fine tremors won't leave her alone, though, a combination of exhaustion, stress, and an overabundance of caffeine. Almost unconsciously, she reaches out to twine her fingers in his shirt. Despite her protests, it looks like she really done want him close.]

[He pauses for a moment, then takes the cup in one hand and puts it aside, so he can pretty much just pull her off the chair and down into his arms. He holds her as he hands her the cup again.]

I have potions that could make you feel better. You know that.

[She falls into him in the most undignified way possible, and accepts the mug with a tired smile.]

If you had a cure for this, I'm fairly sure you would have a different form of self-medication, dear.

[Sipping her coffee, she makes a mildly disgusted face, but that doesn't stop her from taking another sip.]

I'll be all right... I'm not sick, or hurt. Not really.

[She looks up at him, eyes suddenly sharp with a hint of panic behind them as she looks him over.]

You're not hurt, are you? You're all right? You didn't...

I know a potion that would give you a dreamless sleep. Nothing but rest and it looks to me as if that's what you need.

It doesn't work on me, because what... It's probably best described as my soul being poisoned. There's not really a cure for that.

[He lightly tugs on a strand of her hair.]

Though chocolate helps.
