MAGICAL PARTY TIME
My life is terrible and a mess, so I'm giving a party tonight.
Alcohol, magic, drinking games enforced by magic, we'll party like it's Hogsmeade in 1976. Magic shop, soon as it's dark.
Be there or... Don't risk waking up a different colour than you're used to.
[Private to the Once-ler]
I really, really need to talk to you, mate. It's serious. No pun intended.
[Private to James]
I need a talk with as little judging and much perspective as possible.
[Private to Sheska]
I owe you... A lot. Can we meet?

Action
We'll work well together, I'm sure. But for now, Sheska, please. Rest.
Re: Action

[She sounds plaintive, sure of herself even if he isn't, holding her coffee as though she could absorb the nutrients through the ceramic.]
I'm not going anywhere, or doing anything... That's what resting means. To rest: ah, refreshing ease... or inactivity, after... after exertion. Or labor.
[She blinks, startled at how fuzzy the words on the page in her mind appear. She can't quite seem to bring them into focus, and has to stop with just the one definition. Out of five. That's not right.]
Action
So he draws his wand, slowly, pointing it at her as he whispers some words. There is a variety of sleeping spells, but he doesn't think this is going to take much.]
Re: Action
Mm? What was tha--
[She's interrupted by a yawn that she tries valiantly to contain but of course fails to do. Blinking dazedly, she slowly slumps sideways and is asleep before her chin hits her chest. The coffee mug slips from her fingers, but she is gone. For now, at least, it's a deep, calm sleep. It'll be a little while before the nightmares turn up.]
