I hope we're not starting summer early. The heat wave was bad enough last time. Is everyone doing all right? Do we need to make air conditioner or water bottle runs for anyone? I have some free time at the moment...

I think the freezer in our refrigerator broke. Rudy One's been keeping it open nonstop for the last few days.

Ah... Well that certainly isn't good for the refrigerator. Perhaps it might be a better idea to get a few fans, or an additional air conditioner instead. Better in the long term, anyway! And then you could put ice packs or towels in the freezer and then you'll have something you can place on your neck, or wrists to help cool down without breaking the fridge?

How're you handling this heat?

I'm holding up all right so far... Though the heat is actually making it harder to sleep, which I wasn't sure was possible at this point. I actually found a little spray bottle with a fan attached to it! It's been a great help.

Did you, ah... did you have weird dreams the other week?

Sort of. It's really weird to have dreams when I'm back with Rudy One. It all gets... sort of jumbled about in there, you know?

Sure I do. It's usually when he and I are separated, though. Otherwise, we just share dreams. Same body, same mind, I guess. Sort of complicated, innit?

Ah, sometimes! Some are good, some are, um, less so... but that's normal, isn't it? I'm sure yours are like that too.

They're all right, yeah. We've seen and done some pretty messed up things in our time so... sometimes that comes back a little bit. But it's only dreams. Doesn't make it real.

No, though it's hard to tell that in the dream. If you've seen it before, it must seem all that much more real. It probably gets all the little details right. Hopefully it's not too terrible for you. It's awful to have nightmares like that!

That's true. Once something's kinda burned itself into your mind, it's hard to forget. Thank goodness we can't smell in our dreams, right?
