Look, normally I wouldn't bother with this kind of inane theoretical debate, but since I have nothing more pressing to do at this current moment in time, I will humor you. Let's say, just for the sake of argument, that you're correct, that "the law" is in fact a tool that can be used, without limits. Now, imagine this tool in the hands of a cowardly guttersnipe with a god complex and a sneaky weapon of mass murder. Said fine young upstanding citizen currently hides behind the law like a cheap carnival mask, twisting it into an unrecognizable parody of its former self while committing what basically amounts to genocide in the name of "the law" - his law. What then, hmm?
