In Four, every house was made with a little wood from a shipwreck. It was sort of our catch-all. A way to commemorate the lost sailors, honor the ocean and prevent future disasters. Tributes were given charms carved out of wreckage wood before they went into the arena for good luck. Of course, you could argue that they didn't do much good, but I brought mine both times.
This was actually a very thoughtful gift, Alois. Thank you.
I'm considering building another boat. A better boat. Not to escape, just to sail. I miss the sea, even though it surrounds us.
