While the Dark Hour remains, it seems that the kidnappings have either paused or ceased completely. We've been investigating it, but we haven't found (with Teddie's help) any new extensions. We can't safely say that nothing else will happen, but if there was someone responsible for it, we need to gather our resources and act before it happens again. If it has ceased completely ... then we have to find a way to get rid of the Dark Hour.

Any ideas?

We still haven't confirmed what Mochizuki was telling us, about the "fall". But.... is that really still on the table?

If it leads to us getting rid of the Dark Hour, maybe.

i don't really have any ideas because i do not know a lot about this stuff, but i will help with whatever plan you come up with.

Hey, I know this is a crazy idea, but... the more people got thrown in the Midnight Channel, the harder it got for Teddie to find them. It seems like it's started to take longer here too...

What if the long break is just because the scent is too faint now?

Well, if it's rooted in human psychology, the way it seems to be, one possible solution would be... get everyone to think differently.

The only problem is, we can't tell if it's restricted to the island or if it's a global phenomenon. If it's just the island, getting a few thousand people to look at things differently is easy enough. If it's the world, though...

I wonder... I mean, we survived one apocalyptic event already, right? What are the odds of the same thing happening all over again?

This place seems to have a lot of stuff happening for no reason. What if the Dark Hour appearing is just a coincidence? What if it has nothing to do with the whole "Nyx" thing?

I mean, I know it's not the best way of doing things, but if we can rule out what it's not then... we're one step closer than we were, right?

If that were true then wouldn't they be finding whole piles of bodies every month?

Besides, nobody's been on the midnight channel since we rescued Spain.

Do you have any evidence that these incidents have stopped? Perhaps the force behind these disappearances is only biding its time or waiting for a perfectly opportune moment?

It could be just coincidence.

But you're right, we have to rule it out. Since Mochizuki seems versed on the Dark Hour, from his story, we have to believe him until we can rule it out.

Yeah..... Some of the details just don't seem to fit, you know? Like the connection between the Dark Hour and the TV world..... Mochizuki's story was a good starting point, but it doesn't explain the whole story. I mean, half of what's happened is stuff we've already seen before that he hasn't, right?

Other than that........... I've got nothing. Sorry... if I could make myself be any smarter, I would!

I wonder if there's a way to explain the link between what happened in Iwatodai and what happened in Inaba. There's too many things that are similar to ignore a link, because there is one.

Maybe that should be the place that we start.

Similar but different, huh? Man... this case is like Frankenstein. Only instead of body parts it's like somebody hacked it together from all of our memories. I just wish the whole thing made even a little bit of sense!

Well, it's possible that someone's been kidnapped and is holding their own, and for some reason, Teddie can't find them. It would explain the break if someone had been kidnapped.

But it's hard to tell, we'd have to compare the records of people who were "released" to the people here.

I wanted to give you a heads up.

Sometimes you guys have a pretty good idea of figuring out what's coming.

Aside from the lack of kidnappings, no.

It's possible, but there are a lot of possibilities.

We'll have to check.

Be careful. You might have to go out in a rowboat ahead of time to get close enough. And if it sinks, there won't be anyone who can reach you until after the Dark Hour is over.

Well. Actually, I take that back. I might be able to have a rescue team on standby.

We might be able to find someone with abilities that can get out there themselves. There's all different kinds of people on this island, after all. Not all of them need technology to get somewhere.

At least, I hope not.
