The forest is rather beautiful at this time of year.

I'd like to offer my sincerest condolences to those who have lost people from this place recently. I suppose our only solace can be found in the fact that they aren't here anymore, though I realise that's of little comfort to those who remain.

My hammock. I kept one strung up near Serenity's engine in case I had to stay nearby, and I found it again. Or at least one that looks just like it. Feels like a little piece of home.

[The Doctor takes a minutes to answer, which is unusual in and of itself. Eventually the door falls open, and the Doctor slowly withdraws back to the console, wearing an expression that clearly displays hopelessness and sorrow, though even now he's attempting to conceal it.]

[He waits patiently, and moves inside when the door opens, closing it behind him. There's a small frown on his face as he regards the other, then glances around the room as if searching for something.
