[Sheska's voice comes on in the middle of a sentence, sharp and confused. Whoops. Looks like something's screwy with her new Starkphone.]
--VIS? What's--? No, really, I'm supposed to be here! I-- Ah... What're you doing? What do those attachments do? Really, if you just call--
[She yelps, and from the clatter, it's not hard to extrapolate that she's fallen over. The phone rattles on the floor and the video clicks on just in time to see the mousy-haired young woman struggle to her feet and pound on a pane of rounded glass.]
Let me out! Please, I'm not going to do anything! I'll just leave, I--
[A rush of fluffy white foam sprays down from the ceiling of the small area, cutting her off. The screen is covered with the stuff, but you can hear her coughing and choking. She stumbles and slips, from the sound of it, and when the foam is followed by a deluge of water, the foam dissipates to reveal her huddled against one wall, soaking wet in her skirt suit, trying to shield her face. The water stops and she peeks out through her fingers. She seems to spot the phone, because she grabs for it and the video shuts off before anyone gets a look up her skirt.]

Kate? I-I'm not injured, I don't think...
You don't think? [Her voice is a little higher now, alarmed.]
I'm a little sore where I slammed into the wall and the floor, but I don't seem to have any broken bones... My glasses aren't even damaged.
[This last is said in a tone somewhere between flat observation and awe.]
Where are you? I'm gonna come get you out.
Oh, no! No, really, please don't! Something in the security system has gone funny, and I don't think you were ever on the guest list to begin with, and if the people living here are having to fight off malfunctions it wouldn't a good idea--
[She seems to realize that she's running sentences together and cuts herself off, biting her lip.]
Okay, well, we have to get you out somehow. What happened?
It's... hard to know, really. I came in to work - Mr. Stark had asked me to come in for a bit today - and I got in all right... But Mr. JARVIS didn't say hello, or tell me where I was going to be reviewing the material for today. That was odd. So I went to see if I could find Mr. Stark. Then the security robots started acting funny - I've seen them before, and they didn't attack me! They forced me into the laboratory and I tripped over the lip of a glass chamber. I think Mr. JARVIS shut the door and locked it on me, but it's hard to tell... it doesn't have any conventional lock that I can see. And it's thick glass, too.
I wonder if it's related to the devices malfunctioning. Have you gotten a hold of Stark? Maybe he can override the computer or... cut the power or something.
[She doesn't know how any of this stuff works. Back home, she was just pleased she mastered the art of using her blackberry.]
That... could be possible. I wouldn't have thought it, since his things seem to be so advanced, but... I tried to reach Mr. Stark, but not sure if he heard or not. Ms. Romanoff knows, though, surely she'll tell him?
[She may give the sales pitches, but since phones at home hadn't progressed past wall-mounted rotary dials with horns for mouth and ear pieces, this is all far beyond Sheska.]
And I'm really ok right now.
[That attempt at a smile does not look all that convincing, but she's very earnest about all this.]
If nothing else, I'm staying on with you until someone gets you out of there. Can you contact Natasha again? See if someone who can get in there is coming for you?
Re: [Video]
Oh! Yes, that's a good idea, let me--
[Sheska goes quiet a moment, looking off to the side with a motion remarkably similar to a cat when someone says "tuna" in the kitchen.]
Is that... Mister Stark? Mister Stark? Just a moment, Kate, I think... I think Mister Stark might be outside the door. Something about a blow torch...?
Just stay back from the door. Hopefully they can cut you out of there.
No... not the door to the glass. The one to the lab. It's across the room from me. Couldn't get to it if I wanted to.
[She pauses, frowning more deeply, leaning over to press her ear against the curved glass right next to her. Something she hears evidently alarms her, and she looks back to Kate.]
Hold on a minute! I'll be right back!
[As she scrambles to her feet, the screen fuzzes, warps briefly, and cuts out.]
[Kate will continue to call her back again and again until she gets a response eventually.]
Is it working now? ...yes, I think so. Kate, are you still there?
Are they getting you out?
Ah... Y-yes, I think I'll be ok for water. Unless this isn't water, but... it t-tasted like water earlier.
I was hoping for something a little more... Sanitary, but I guess we'll have to take what we can get.
You know... [She settles back in her chair. It's not like she's going anywhere until Sheska gets out of there, so she might as well try and take her mind off of it.] I got trapped in a walk-in freezer once.
A walk-in freezer? Like at a butcher's?
Yeah, but it was empty... Except for me and Castle. I honestly thought that was going to be the end of us.
