[ Derek glares after the retreating mugger and pulls his fangs back in, turning back to Ukraine, face soft. ] Are you okay? He didn't hurt you, did he?

Yes! I mean, no! I mean, goodness you're quick. I'm all right! It only looked like he was going to try something so I was going to just -- [ and she mimes swinging the bottle; it would have been a shame to waste, but vodka wouldn't ruin her clothes like a gunshot wound would do. ]

[A rather familiar white wolf came dashing around the corner, and barreled right into the retreating mugger, bowling him over. Her paw comes down hard on his sternum, and the wolf leans in close, snapping her teeth in his face with a snarl. Even to a regular person, it screams stay down and hold still if you value your life. She remains planted on the offender, but takes a moment to look up at Ukraine and Derek for confirmation - this is the guy, right? Everyone's ok?]

[ OH GOD EVERYONE'S COMING OUT OF THE WOODWORK but at least Ukraine manages not to drop her bottle in surprise when she cries: ] Oh, Aisling! Don't hurt him!

[The wolf slicked her ears back to her skull, ducking her head a little in acknowledgement of the rebuke. She won't hurt him... unless he tries something funny. He's a little dazed and alarmed, but not seriously hurt yet. The marauder shifts a bit and she bristles, baring her teeth and growling at him till he lays still again. Just because she's not likely to hurt him doesn't mean she's going to let him go that easily.

She looks back up at Ukraine, pricking up her ears and looking her over inquisitively. Any injuries? No? Derek? You?]
